I highly recommend someone buy this stuff, I did long tubes and no cat h-pipe on my car and it made a big seat of the pants difference over stock crap even over shorties, Plus no more patented 5.0 exhaust leaks at the header/h-pipe

So Rob what you are saying is totally discard the old wire on the back of the 3g and run a new heavy wire from the back post of the alternator to the positive battery terminal or the solenoid positive side or does it matter?

No, I either missed it or it wasnt in that right up im about to do that now, I have a ton of 4 guage wire im about to run it from the solenoid/battery to the back of the alternator i guess

The one dave gave me made some noise but tested bad at the shitty advance but good at napa I got another one it tested good at napa as well. the car only starts after the battery is charged then thrown in the car them shortly dies, just got back from napa battery tested good ............................

I just did the 3g alternator swap on my car using the write up here http://www.corral.net/tech/maintenance/130a-tech.html everything went together great and the car ran great everyhting on at idle no loss of volts on the stock or autometer gauge. drive the car today fires right up take it for a drive everyhting great, go to put it into the garage as right as I start it up the amp light comes on and stays on has a good alternator on it all connections are good car only starts if i charge the battery on the charger then if it let it run for a while it just dies. Rob- I figured you were busy and didnt want to bother you like I usually do

Seems to have shit the bed after like 4 miles, the battery light came on and then the car wouldnt start later in the day battery checked out fine did all the electrical connections fine

I know rob I Don't doubt you just seeing if anyone had a similar problem

Backround: 1996 Hyundai Accent GT dohc motor manual 5 speed tranny 90k miles, stock clutch as far as i know. Problem..... Drove the car all day today ran fine, drove from worthington to lane ave 315 south the whole way, get off at lane at the light it would NOT go into gear at all, eventually somehow got it into second and pulled into a parking lot, tried to shift into 3rd nothing, eventually got it into 3rd and drove it home. The shifter doesnt feel like it used to and it obviously does NOT work properly, Any help?? Thanks

I am changing my set up so up for sale is an 1996 explorer 5.0 upper and lower intake manifold, this manifold is a huge imporvement over stock 5.0 manifold and a perfect upgrade for you 5.0 guys, the intake flows just as good as the tubular and cobra intakes they all share the same lower (thats the bottleneck anyways) so that being said 175 obo also if you have any questions please feel free to ask
