  1. I told a friend about these and he wants me to make sure they will fit a LS1, LS2? he has a Z06 dont know what year I wanna say 2000
  2. Shit man, do you proof read your posts before you actually post them...? lol just messin with you bro... sorry about your tranny man that sucks
  3. '04 350z cold air, MREV2, Plenum spacer that all thats on it right now but headers testpipes and true duels are comming very very soon
  4. ok, thanks man i really appreciate the help.
  5. there are several things that the mail order place said that they do to the ECU, if I go to a dyno with a wideband can they do the same things? or should I send it to them and then go to a dyno?
  6. This may be a stupid question but I don't know the answer... Im going to send my ECU in to a company called TECHNOSQUARE for a re-flash... when I send it in I have to send them a list of my mods too. So once I get it back would there be any reason I would still need to go to a dyno and get a tune? or is the re-flash pretty much the same thing?
  7. I have a '04 350z, when I shift to 5th under hard acceleration there is a slight grinding... even if im not accelerating and I just shift fast to 5th without letting the RPM's drop there is a slight grind. any Ideas??
  8. well I heard of two different things... one to reflash or tune my existing chip, of to get completly different chip... Im not sure which is best??
  9. Im thinking about buying an ECU upgrade for my 350z... Im looking for some insight to what kind of performance jumps I can expect? and also the best place to go?
  10. I found a block, and some heads.. I decided to just buy a rotating assembly and heads from a place called Competition Products.. its going to end up being cheaper and Im getting more engine.... its a Dart block and ends up being 572ci the heads are Brodix CNC 2xtra heads, fully ported and polished.. and 355cc/119cc... We are running into the normal wife issues... "too much money", "wait a few months" , "pay off this bill first" but we are working through it just may take a few more months but if anybody has built something similar or has any good tips, Ive never built a BB before so we are kinda learning as we go... Thanks
  11. great any help you can give me as far as the block would be great... and Im still looking for a tranny. Just let me know what you dind I really appreciate all your efforts. If you are just interested in the tranny I think he wants like $400 for it. thanks again man
  12. Hmmmm I found a few 454's kinda hard to come by... I posted a thread in The Passing Lane called Too Good To Be True?, check it out see what u think..deserado umm I dont have the truck but If you are interested let me know I can hook you up with the guy I was talkin to... Im sure he'll sell it, its just sitting at his shop. And as far as how much I wanna spend... well most that Ive found were around $700 for the engine and $300 for the tranny. Id like to stay alittle below that but it just depends on what kinda shape the block is in..thanks for all your help
  13. Just looking for alittle feed back... I am looking to build a BB chevy, and at first I was going to pull a block and have it re-done and bore it over and new cam bearings put in it... and all that shit. Then I decided to look into aftermarket rotating assemblies, I found one company called Competition Products that was offering a 540ci rotating assembly, forged crank, steel connecting rods, JE pistons and Plasmamoly rings... they wanted $1795... I thought that was great... but I started to look around at other brands and most of the others for pretty much the same setup wanted around $4000... so I think to myself is Competition Products too good to be true heres the link http://www.competitionproducts.com/prodinfo.asp?number=SR540D my question is, has anyone ever heard of them?? and what is your opinion? do you think its too good to be true? is this Bullshit? Im goin to contact the BBB and see what they have to say about it.. thanks for your help. Brodi
  14. ummm really dosent matter, as long as its 4-bolt main... Im going to tear it down and rebuild it anyway, Im probably only going to use the block
  15. I called they have no BB at all, Thanks though
