  1. Hope to see you guys out! Scott...I have several more that I will be hosting through the summer and fall.

  3. That's right....all is cleared with insurance and we are good to go. This is for the first practice of the year. I understand the cost went up a little bit, but I have a lot more overhead and need to cover these costs. Not to add that most of them have been paid up front to make this happen for you guys/gals. So please do not complain about the increase. I know it sucks and other tracks might be less, but every situation is different. So deal with it and lets rock this damn place! COST: $35 per driver (NOT PER CAR!) I will have wristbands to verify you paid WHEN: Sunday June 10th WHERE: Columbus motor Speedway 1841 Williams Road Columbus, OH 43207 TIMES: 10am-5pm RULES: Standard Tech will apply Drivers MUST have helmets All cars on the track must be equipped with working OEM seatbelts or harnesses (no ebay junk) Tandem is fine if the participating cars can pass the required tech No ride alongs as of now (may change, but probably not) You may show up to the track as early as 9:30am to get your cars ready or help set things up. Tech inspection will start at 9:45am. RESPECT THE TRACK AND PLEASE CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELVES! **Due to insurance difficulties all drivers must sign the CMS practice release form. This basically means that myself and anyone affiliated with the track is NOT responsible for injuries or accidents that could happen.** If you have any questions then feel free to ask ME. Please do not call the track and bug them with your questions. I should have all the answers you would need to know. If not then leave it up to ME to ask the owners or insurance company. Thanks, Sean
  4. Shane's GTO is dope... that looks like a blast!
  5. What are these things going for these days?lol
  6. Just checked he sent them out somewhere one time and it was pricey. Then he started doing them at Arnold Scott's or Jerry Buck's. He did use ET Paul a few times too. He said Arnold might still have the machine and he can do them if so.
  7. My father and I would always send them somewhere south to get shaved and then put them on our tire soaker. I will shoot him a text and see what the place was called.
  8. So no partial tube chassis? :gabe:
  9. The Copart place says they are on Mondays? Showing they have them in Columbus and Columbia Station. I am finding some really nice cars. I'm just afraid of how thorough the inspectons are to get a rebuilt title? Some of these wrecked font end ones I would just do a tube front on.
  10. Nevermind on the second question. I think I got my answer lol
  11. Has anybody on here attended them? I am looking to possibly hit up some auctions very soon. I am in the market for a wrecked GTO/350Z/S2k/RX8/M3 etc etc. Looking for somthing I can fix up a little bit and turn into a track car. I am also curious about something. If I buy a salvage title car does it HAVE to be inspected and labeled as rebuilt to drive legally? I have some good friends and family with body shops. I just haven't had th chance to ask them some questions yet.
  12. We may come out and give it another try?
  13. I run Mobil 1 0w-40.....the Advance Auto across from me always has it in stock.
  14. You know you're looking for a unicorn dude...go out west or south I miss mine a lot lately.
  15. Yeah, combat engineer....you will be at Ft. Leonardwood. You will enjoy it LOL
  16. cool story....so what do you have to say about the other sports I posted?
  17. All sports require some sort judgement. This debate has been going on for years about allowing them in the Olympics. Gymnastics, boxing, ice skating etc etc. Those are all very physically demanding SPORTS that do require judges to function properly. Drifting follows similar guidelines. Although it is essentially follow the leader and runs by elimination in bracket form. Sport or not in some eyes....it still takes more driver skill and balls than most true "motorheads" even possess.
  18. Word dude. Let me see if I can swing down in a few days and pick through your garage lol. Then maybe swing by this Mike Ward fellas place.
  19. Stock rockers, just trying to source a cam before I shop for rockers.
  20. NOT drifting....but seen this earlier. The car sounds good and she isn't too bad on the eyes.
  21. Thanks. I will check it out if I don't get some good offers soon.
  22. I've heard of Mike Ward before. Is he a tuner? Where is his shop?
