  1. A little biased or EXTREMELY knowledgeable! I have owned 6 Alfa Romeo's, both new and old. Re-read my post, I am not an Alfa fan-boi. The biggest problem with Alfa's then and now is a weak dealer service network. Full disclosure my daily is a G90.
  2. Alfa's have always been reliable cars. It has been the dealers, or owners, who do not know how to service them that has been the issue you have witnessed as reliability. That said they are thoroughly modern cars made by Italians, so look at Fiat, which is what they really are, for reliability reports. The last real Alfa Romeo in this country was the Milano from 1988 and the SZ in yurrup. I test drove one, very nice motor, modern electronics. A little small for a daily (for me) and near impossible for my frame to get in the back seat. Alfa is bringing back the Alfetta sedan which will be larger and the GTV coupe which is rumored to have 600 gas and electric horsepowers.
  3. Looking for recommendations for a contractor to add a 3 garage and remodel some existing space. Any and all suggestions appreciated.
  4. Clay, I have a very nice set you can have.
  5. Thanks again Tim, your work speaks for itself! -Brian
  6. Audi 2006... http://www.nadaguides.com/Cars/2006/Audi/TT
  7. You have it backwards. Audi ripped off Hyundai. Audi's grill was always a rounded 4 side rectangle. Hyundai uses a six-sided hexagon rather like an elongated Superman badge. After Peter Schreyer (original designer at Audi and did first TT) left Audi and went to... Kia/Hyundai he refined the brand and widened the grill. Audi soon followed suit and changed from a 4 sided grill to the now hexagonal shape similar to Hyundai/Genesis. Audi's are FAR more common so I guess folks see more Audis and think they were first but they weren't. Now, Schreyer did use a lot of A8 interior cues in the G90, especially in the center stack. More elegant in the 90's and a little more techno in the A8.
  8. Clay, AirBnB is going to be verboten in Uber Arlington. People are getting away with it now but I was at a recent zoning meeting in which they denied a request and spoke about forthcoming rulings to come out 'agin it.
  9. Exhaust leaks bouncing off of parked cars or cement will sound like all kinds of things. Fix that first.
  10. Don't forget the Awans are tied to Paki intel.
  11. Just found this, have not read it cover to cover. https://voat.co/v/pizzagate/2015796
  12. For whatever reason golf cart drivers seem to think laws apply less to them than they do to cyclists. I guess that could be extrapolated. Law does not apply...........................................................................Law does apply bmw drivers -> golf carts -> skateboarders -> cyclists -> motorcyclists -> all other cars
  13. Sister was on UA Civic committee for UA parade. She tells me the golf carts are not legal anytime of the year, the po-po just looks the other way on the 4th as long as you are not being "that guy". I'd love to have a golf cart for trips to grocery or for filling the gas cans but I 'aint moving to FLA just for that. Too many agalators.
  14. Golf carts are ONLY legal to use on the road in UA on the 4th, verbotten the rest of the year. A push was made about 5 years ago to legalize them and that effort went down in flames. Do you know if something has changed? http://www.thisweeknews.com/content/stories/upperarlington/news/2010/08/25/golf-carts-on-the-road-in-ua-unlikely-in-foreseeable-future.html
  15. Different Ross... not the same guy.
