  1. i'll trade ya a 93 mercury tracer wagon with 84 000 miles and really good paint and interior for a 93.
  2. That is crazy awesome! and it doesn't even look that bad for a geo
  3. Thats awesome, i cant imagine how hard it would be to make something like that
  4. btw where is a good place to take my heads to get them checked out, cleaned and possibly ported and polished?
  5. I just got the heads off about 10 min ago. I just took them off together and used a bolt out to get the coolant lines off. Thanks for all the help.
  6. Yeah thats what I figured. thanks, hopefully I'll have this pos runnin soon.
  7. I tried a crescent wrench on one of them and it just rounded it over. How much did they cost to replace? cause I'm gonna at least have to replace the driver side one. and yeah the intake manifold is off, these 2 bolts are the last 2 things i need to take off before i can pull the heads. Btw do you have to remove any bolts from the accessory bracket on the passenger side? It looks like you do but I'm not sure, and the hanes manual says nothing about it.
  8. I don't want to cut the tube if at all possible cause I'm spending enough money as it is in new parts although i guess that could be a last ditch effort. and a longer wrench wont fit back under the cowl at all. the main problem is that i can't get a good grip on the head of the bolt, a 15mm is just a little loose and a 9/16 wont fit on it. I think i'm gonna try and use a bolt out or maybe just fuck it up with some vise grips. what really makes it difficult is that i have to get up on my hands and knees in the engine bay to even be able to reach back there, so its hard to get leverage. as for removing the heads at the same time I was thinking about it and it might be the easiest way out. thanks for the advice guys I guess i just need to fuckin do it, and get it over with.
  9. I'm knee deep in removing the cylinder heads from my 93 z28 and I'm having trouble removing the two "banjo" bolts that hold a coolant line to the back of the heads. the problem is that they are back underneath the cowl, and the heads of the bolts are very shallow. I was wondering if anyone has done this before and has any advice. I've tried open and closed end wrenches, and they are too close to the fire wall to use a socket.
  10. please excuse me whilst i change my pants
  11. it looks like an electric fan motor....with a turbo?....I'm so confused
  12. It better pleasure you when your done driving it for that much money.
  13. I might just buy a 360 for the sole purpose of playing that game. The first one was so damn fun i cant even imagine how awesome this one will be.
  14. http://www.travellerspoint.com/member_profile.cfm?user=moscowmetr I guess I'm a Canadian mountain guide eh.
  15. If I had money and it didn't have that hideous hood scoop...and a little more rubber showing around those obnoxious wheels Id be all over it.
  16. By the way Rich... how much are u selling the 85 Rx7 for?
  17. Im totally jealous. last spring I bought my 93 z28 with paint that looks like its been washed with concrete, a blown head gasket, and an f ed up optispark. the 94 has an MAFS as opposed to the speed density set up in my 93, and I believe the 94s came with stiffer springs. course I only paid 2500. physical rehab is underway and it should be runnin by summer.
  18. ahhhhh yes the pontiac powered crx....classy choice indeed. and btw I have no idea if ups would be a good idea I was just sayin unintelligent, useless words as per the norm.
  19. tell your robot captors you need to make a trip to ups. they might be leaniant. btw u still sellin the 85
  20. haha thats hilarious! I love it when I see jackasses like that. There so fun to mess with. http://www.heferito.com/image_folder/ricer-wrecked-275.jpg hummer ftw
  21. my camaro is nice for a daily driver (when it runs). But I must say I miss my 91 sentra se-r as a daily driver that I sold to buy the camaro (especially now that I'm stuck driving a mercury tracer wagon that idles like Linn's camaro but does 0-60 in about a day n half). The sr20 was responsive enough, and the thing handled like a dream. And it hurts me to say that cause I'm a pretty die hard v8 guy.
