  1. Let me know Jacket size and chest size if you will part it, as well as price. Cash in Hand.
  2. It's only got 2k miles on it, and I'm very new to riding so I don't think I'll be beating the crap out of it.
  3. I'm going to talk to some friends. They just moved into a new house and were talking about a pool table.
  4. I believe I found a 07 SV650s on the cheap, so that should be my first bike.
  5. I think it's Time Machine or something. Depending on when the last time you saved everything you could recover it that way as well.
  6. Yeah, already bailed on the 250 idea. I have WTB threads on OR and here so... Hope something pops up that the bank says is worth what I'm asking for.
  7. 3k is what I'm willing to spend. I've seen everything on CL. Majority of money will be coming from a bank. Loan will be approved as long as the bike is w/in MARKET VALUE! Already lost out on one because the seller was asking to much for it. Let me see what you have. Prefer 03+ SV but I'm not going to be SUPER picky, just a preference. Open to other bikes too, just NO 250 Thanks
  8. 13" MacBook Monitor w1907 HP LCD For when I decide to run dual monitors
  9. Thanks for the explanation. First loans I'm having to take out, don't want to drop myself into a money pit.
  10. Yeah, government pays interest on the Subsidized until 6 months after I graduate or all that other stuff. UnSub I pay interest on it. So would I assume that it would just be better to take the Subsidized so I don't have to pay any money right now?
  11. Which one is the smartest one to go with? I got offered more money on the subsidized loan, but I don't need it all this quarter. Which one is the smarter one to choose and why?
  12. Any chance you would part on the jacket depending if it fits?
  13. From what the guy told me the Dog bones on this bike were changed out w/ busa ones??? I'm not going to be riding to hard starting out as this is my first bike so hitting the corners super hard is not what I plan on doing. I'll mess around with it to find out what I like best I guess height wise.
  14. Should I look into raising the bike back up to original seat height? It's lowered 3 inches. I'm 5'7 5'8.
  15. Yes, they are still carbed in 01. 03 they quit with the carbs. Wish I would have found an 03 model, but they all had way more miles and were still asking for a lot more in price. Are there any huge differences that makes the carb worse than the fuel injection? All I read was I just need to keep the carbs cleaned, and it's a little harder to start from a cold start. He had the carbs cleaned last summer, new plugs and all that jazz done and hasn't ridden the bike more than 500 miles this season I would say...
  16. I'm not worried about the money situation. I work just under 50 hours a week so getting money to pay it off won't be a problem. Honestly I expect myself to have it payed off by the end of next year. I'm trying to get credit built so I can buy a house/ condo next year. I know I could have gotten lower rates on a school loan and all that yada yada, but I'm afraid if I take out one for school, I'll just keep doing it and be in a money pit by the time I graduate.
  17. I'm trying to build credit and I'm paying for my school in cash. So either take out school loans, or take out a loan for this... The loan is 3k by the way. And everything I've found on CL through the columbus search is above 3k.
  18. Well I found a sv650s this week, turned in my loan application and all that jazz so hopefully by the end of the week this thing will be in my garage. 01sv650s with just over 5k miles on it, garage kept it's whole life. It's lowered 3 inches, but feels like a more comfortable fit for me since I'm only 5'8. Wish I had some pictures but I can't find the ad on CL anymore. Looking forward to hopefully riding with some of you, assuming this loan goes through. Wish me luck.
  19. Ouch, sounds nasty. At least you were wearing all gear and still have your head on your shoulders. Hope you have a speedy recovery.
  20. Could be a hose. Vacuum? I had the same problem a while back when I had my TSI, but it was completely stock.
  21. Also, when using Amazon, take into account that some companies won't get you your book for an entire month, so if you can schedule early. Federal Loans or Sallie Mae like stated above are what you should look into. I just filled out all mine today and I get enough to pay for tuition each quarter.
  22. If you don't mind PM me price on the jacket too and pics when you grab them of the gloves. If it's what I'm looking for I may just come scoop the gloves and the jacket. Thanks
  23. Posted in your other thread. PM me prices on gloves please. I'm looking for a leather jacket though. Thanks.
