    I have a CZ455 and love it. It's more than what you're willing to spend but you can swap barrels on it if you want to change calibers and it's a great out of the box shooter.

     

    Maybe you can find one of the 454 for a good price right now.

     

    I would definitely look at Savage though and go from there if you're looking for a bolt.

  9. Any Roadbike guys on here?

    I got an 80's Raleigh for under $200 and had to put about $50 into it to get it road ready. I'd start looking at the older road bikes and if you get into it spend more money down the road.

     

    Go into a store and get fitted so you know what to look for when buying.

  15. What is your EDC?

    Im only looking to hear options of guns I may have over looked. This isn't my first carry piece, I just haven't looked into carry guns for a while and am curious if anything new is out since I last looked.

     

    I love my k9 until i have to carry it all day in the summer.

     

    Im going to look at the cm9, p290rs, a pm9 and g17. Im hoping to get past my dislike of glocks.

    Looking to get a different carry gun. I started with a Kahr CW9 and sold it to get a Kahr K9. Now that I have the K9 I want something smaller.

     

    Must Haves

    DAO

    9mm

    NO Safety

     

    I've been looking at the Sig 290 RS and it's at the front of the line with a Kahr PM9 if I can find one at a good price.

     

    I haven't liked any Glock I've ever shot but I'm going to go handle one again before I rule it out.

     

    What other options do you guys like?

    No personal experience with the Glock-pattern lowers. I recently purchased a Colt-pattern lower made by DDLES that I'm waiting to arrive. I went with the Colt for a few reasons. 1. I can't stand the look of the Glock version. 2. Colt mages are relatively cheap. 3. The colt version seems to be just as reliable with good mags. That said, I do appreciate the convenience and idea behind using the same mags for both your pistol and rifle but it wasn't enough to sway me towards the Glock version.

     

    BTW, if you weren't aware, DDLES (IMO, the best out there from what I can tell) is no longer in business, so if you want one of their lowers, I suggest buying sooner rather than later as prices are already climbing rapidly. LWD also makes a Glock pattern and Zev Tech is working on one.

     

    DDLES is who I've been looking at.

     

    What's the build going to cost you in the end? I'm also looking at the new JP 9mm carbine that takes Glock mags and Stag is coming out with a lower that takes the Colt mags as well.

     

    I'm looking for Glock mags because of the availability and the cost factor vs. Colt mags. Haven't looked at the MetalForm mag prices yet to see if it would cut the cost of them down at all.
