  1. I have 3 55 litre bags I carry all my ropes, ascending gear, rigging equipment and odd tools I don't use day to day. I want to keep the equipment in the bags for on the job site organization and then transfer them to the box.

Thanks for the suggestions so far.

  2. We use Pelican cases for our equipment at work, these things are shipped 2-3 times a week and take extraordinary amounts of abuse. We ship some pretty sensitive, precision equipment and the cases keep them well protected and secure.

If you want durable and piece of mind, I would not use anything but Pelican IMHO.

I'm just having trouble finding a pelican that fits the size requirements.

  3. I'm looking for a pelican case or an alternative brand that has the same sort of quality. Waterproof, impact resistant and rolling wheels would be a plus.

My jobs trucks got raided this week and they took one of my bags with just shy of 4k of gear in it. We now have to take home all gear/ put it in the shop and I'm wasting a lot of time in the mornings and after we get back to the shop making 4-6 trips back and forth through the yard everyday.

I'm looking for something about 3 ft long, 2ish feet deep and 2ish feet wide. It needs to not get destroyed getting ratchet strapped to the back of a bucket truck everyday and withstand a good amount of abuse.

Any brands recommended? Other than pelican cases I came across some music equipment boxes that might fit the criteria.

  4. That's like $61.43 per gram...

    KillJoy

    Spot is at 55

Nothing online ever sells at spot nor does it in local stores and most places it's sold out.

I'm pretty sure I'm priced below everywhere I looked.

  5. Looks great. Do you have experience with Odies? Im looking for something for my butcher block counter tops that holds up better than mineral oil based stuff.

Urbn Timber uses odies religiously, they stock it at their showroom too. Swing by there place and pick some up

  6. My phone is taking a dump on me slowly and it's time to upgrade. I'm currently using a pixel XL and I like it but after however many years of owning it I'm charging it two to three times a day and when taking videos they will lag. Google has also cut updates to this model.

I'm looking at the pixel 4xl since it's on sale and the one plus8 and one plus 8 pro.

I'd like an aux cord, which neither of the above offer but I think they're slowly fading this feature out. Main reason for this is for long drives so I can charge and listen to music simultaneously. I don't know how the wireless charging is set up so maybe that won't be an issue.

I'm reading the one plus has a curved screen. I've never messed with a phone like that, anyone have experience with that sort of thing? Is it an easy transition?

I kinda care about the camera but I feel everything out now a days is pretty good anymore I won't notice a difference from one to the next.

I also don't like how Google went away with ginger print ID to unlock the phone as I use that for some apps I like to access quickly.

Reviews or comments on the ones listed above? Other suggestions on larger screen phones?

I'll try to keep this phone for 4 to 5 years again like my current one, longer if it allows. Or if anyone is selling an in good shape pixel 3xl let me know.

  7. I stayed out of oil except for an XOM buy which felt like a safe bet.

I've been in and out of Wayfair for a month and it's been doing well. I don't know how many more %10 + day gains it has left in it at this point.

Got in on DAL today. I haven't been holding anything for long, been playing it day by day.

I do wish I'd have hung on to the TSLA shares I bought in the high 3s. Kinda kicking myself for that one right now.

  8. We used to do this with a group of buddy's when I was young, it was a blast. You Have to be pretty insistent on safe gun practices though, just to keep things fun/safe.

I'd be interested in the range thing too, it'd give me a reason to go.

We wouldn't all have to be there at once for this if we went to a range. Just get out to the range once a week or every other and post your score(s) back here. All depends if we can get enough people interested and how everyone would want to set it up.

  9. Would anyone be interested in doing this? I'd be down for another type too but I assume different ranges sporting clays and what not is different so I figure skeet would be easy to do.

Honor system style, get out once a week, play 2-3 games and log your best score or take an average.

Could do a pool or just for fun. I want to improve and a little friendly competition is always a good way to push yourself . If enough people are interested we can all chime in on a good format
