the rear end was an 8.8 with used 3.73 gears out of a f-150. normaly, actually almost all the time when you use used gears the rear end will make a whine and it doesnt at all. I give them props for that too.

anybody that may care. I finally wieghed it and its 26lbs even, compared to the aluminum 11lbs. I think it would deff be worth it. any rotating wieght removed from the car is something worth investing in.

Just wanted to let people know Atlas Automotive did a great job on my gears install. I called at least 40 people to see who could do it and for how much and Atlas was tied with the lowest and when i showed up to pick my rearend up it was about 40 bucks cheaper then qouted. Made me verry happy. There nice people too that know there crap. Also Gooddale trans helped me out and got me a clip for my trany which saved my ass from waiting 3 days which ford said and I prob would of had to pay 10 bucks for the stupid little thing. Welcome. Theres a decent amount of Z owners on here acctualy. I suggest you wait to turbo the civic or meet someone realy cool on here and have them help you install it your self. Nothing will give you more satisfaction then being able to say, Yup, I installed the set-up. Well that and a Snickers.

Hey just curious. My nieghbor always wakes me up every sunday at 10ish by starting his loud ass bike and lets it warm up for about 10 minutes. Where do you think he's going. Its like a ritual. Im thinking there might be a bike church or something. He's always up at QS&L on bike nights so he is into the bike meets.
