the way these dynos make a pull is you load it then floor it and release the load. Our Dyno Dynamics looks similar to this dyno. But unaware if its a cheaper branded dyno like the junk being made in south africa.

Ef hatch came in 3 models Standard, Dx, and Si.
Standard is a 4 speed manual and swapping between DX and SI can be tricky.
Si is the only one that came mulitport both standard and DX are dual point fuel injection. Also Si is the D16A6 the others are D15's and all are non-vtec.

Looks like you had to ditch the dual BOV setup?
Looks good, moore does awesome work.
I still see 2 hks's!

All of his cars look the same lol. He has whore out the honda world so much that its turned against him and now forced him to go repeat the process with the Porche crowd.
He still wont race Chris Miller! I think hes on his 5th call out?

If your a welding cscc student you get a discount their also. You could see if they would pass you with a discount by mentioning that? :fa:

I can attest to this, the Herculiner is holding up really well on his truck and its been on there for a few years.
I was looking at the herculiner. Starkmaster you havent seen much chipping or crumbling?
Im looking to get away with a budget of $200-$250. My cab is rusted bad on the bottom as i seen a lot of these silverados do but im looking into replacement panels and install before doing the sides of the truck.
ill look into the monsterliner some more also. But i would like someone first hand experience with it.

I have purchased an 01 Silverado and wanted to do my bottom doors and bed, also inside the bed. Are there any good DIY kits on the market with some quality? Anyone with first hand experience?
I foresee Subaru jokes in this thread :gabe:

Question(s)
What are the major differences between the 4.8 and the 5.3? Will parts like heads/Cams interchange? I am finding some one these too cheap not to pay attention!
Will the Harnesses form a Truck work for either? Will a 4.8 and a 5.3 have the same tune-ability? Any limitations in the ECU/Harness in a truck vs a Camaro or Corvette?
Will off the shelf Th350's/Th400/T56 and the like bolt right up to a 4.8/5.3/6.0??
Thanks!
good questions as i too am buying a 5.3l silverado. Ecu's are tunable as i was looking at the current rom for the truck. im just unsure of the support of the LM7 to LS parts (whats compatible and whats not). maybe we both can get these answers.

Interesting as a few Sundays ago i spotted this going north on 71 when i was coming back from Akron!

your rolls look very good and really consistent. Only thing i see and it may be the angle of the camera is it looks under cut in some corners. This is a huge downer in welding class and grade suffers tremendously. just fyi! your hand control and heat range are excellent.

Those reviews lie..... I am not really allowed to speak on the product but someone in this thread already did and summed it up perfectly.
I will say the stage 4 seems to be holding up well in another customer car. I have personally seen 5 maybe 6 stage 5's fail. im just giving you a heads up and i like the build and dont wanna see you down because of their mistake.
And yes Josh can no longer talk about Comp since their is a deal worked out between them.
-
Looks like your off to a good start. i wanted to give you a heads up Comp Clutch stage 5 happens to have a lot of issues. Alittlelessordaniary on here had a ton of trouble with his and ended up going with their twin disk after a long discussion with their technical team. just a heads up.

Definitely quick times, but blah considering Eggum with 7.8's five years ago with outdated tech
This is invalid as Eggum was running Pro Stock class and these cars are outlaw class. tons of difference including weight requirements, turbo limit etc.

I understand and agree and also learned something. But you do know the 4 port mac solenoids can handle 4-5x the spring rate vs the 3-4x the normal 3 port solenoid (the one aem, hondata, greddy etc all sell). This allows you to run a small spring also. I wouldnt mind looking more into the co2 kits etc. there isnt much info on that msd kit you are running.
-
Had the ams...don't get me wrong I liked it but wasn't the most user friendly to setup quicky between passes. I'm on the msd 7562 which is basically the same direction the ams is with co2 it's just laptop controlled and also datalogger. It's time based Also like the ams...oh and a lot cheaper
Interesting that these boost controller companies are running the co2. With these mac valves and their algebraic formula for inductive reactance they lag until then end of the rpm. I notice people are running the co2 to get them to a desired target, Hondata wrote software to hold the waste gate shut with a solenoid until you reach a target psi then it would creep to the final few psi. Hence the quick spool feature on Josh's integra.
-
Paul, i though you have had the AMS boost controller in the past or have you upgraded to something else? See you got it dialed in Congrats!

Does anyone here no where one can find one? I would really like to bolt a GM transmission up to my EJ257.
this crazy Canadian makes adapter plates.

4 brand new acura rdx injectors are $180 from acura. just fyi! and at 43.5 psi flow 450cc high impedance.

Seizing the motor was a requirement. The 2 dealerships I worked at had special liquid glass sent to them to destroy the motor.
.
x2 Honda i worked at had the chemicals also.

Innovate MTX-L is a good entry level wideband. I have had PLX and Innovate products both very good but innovate seems to be better supported and the refresh rate is very close to a motec ntk unit. you will not get any better then a ntk wideband but a $60 bosch replacement is easier then $500 ntk. and people have seen 5 years on a bosch i personally have a plx (bosch) in my car thats been in there for almost 3 years. plx is also self calibrating on startup. O i have used many Aem and i dispise everyone i use. not bad if your looking at a gauge but if you hook up to an ecu to log over good luck. i have done so many know i have requirements for people who use them just so i can log with it.
Pegged the Dyno Today with a LS1 PCM

Excellent work as always Brian!
