    Hey guys

FWIW, United Food Land on Summit near campus sells this. And it is good. Like, better than beer good.
  2. My friend just got something from Target for 100 bucks or so, it's not anything special but it might be worth a look since it's right near campus. EDIT: looking on their website it's more like 160 bucks, just check craigslist and get a frame for like 20 bucks and buy a mattress somewhere.
  3. It's also a good size if you live in a cramped college apartment like I do. My room is small enough that anything bigger than a 37" would be too big.
  4. I've never ran one since the day I got my license. Been pulled over and given a speeding ticket without the cop even mentioning it, yet when the organized crime ring that is towing in Columbus got me for parking on the wrong side during street sweeping (my fault), they gave me a front plate ticket ON TOP OF the fact that I already had to pay 140 bucks to get my fucking car out of the impound. I feel bad for the lady who I was paying the fees to, she got a few of my choice words even though it wasn't her problem. After that ordeal, I decided to put it between the dash and the windshield when parked, and haven't had any problems so far.
  5. It's unbelievable how the price of flat screens is still dropping, maybe by the time my LCD craps out I'll be able to afford an LED one. Just a few months ago that TV I linked to was 500 dollars.
  6. Didn't say Vizio was the top brand quality wise, but if you're already considering a Toshiba then you probably don't care about having the best name brand, they're both second tier brands as far as I'm concerned.
  7. They're the number one seller of LCD's in America, I'm pretty sure they are doing something right. Besides, Toshiba is decent but it's no Samsung or Sony. I know multiple people with Vizio's, for the money you can't really beat it.
  8. About to install it on my Macbook Pro (old version, from 2006 or so). Crossing my fingers that nothing gets fucked up because I'm too stupid and lazy to backup.
  9. Why not go for this instead, supposedly it is only $380 when you add to the cart, plus it's 1080p (not like it matters on a TV this size, but still a great deal). http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_05771528000P?sid=IAx20071211x000001&aff=Y&origin=prod
  10. I lived with him for a year in the big house on Frambes, pretty sure I saw you there a few times.
  11. Too bad our country doesn't give tax breaks and other incentives to buy diesel powered cars like others. When I was in Germany the majority of traffic seemed to be diesel.
  12. Would you happen to be friends with a guy named Owen? Just asking because I remember him having a friend with a white xB that had Vermont plates for a while, I think I may have met you if so. Oh and good to hear you got the car back also.
  13. I download stupid amounts of music everyday, no movies though. I try to stay away from the newer artists that I know the RIAA will be looking for, but I'm still cutting it pretty close. The torrent site I'm on requires users to keep a certain share ratio so I have to upload as well.
  14. Lock cable: http://www.amazon.com/Kensington-K64560US-ComboSaver-Portable-Notebook/dp/B001911ZRQ/ref=pd_cp_e_1 Not saying that someone can't cut through this with the right tools, but it's a good deterrent. I used this when I lived in the dorms because I don't trust anyone. Almost all laptops made in the last few years have the little slot for this to go into, just wrap it around a sturdy desk or something and you're good to go.
  15. I'm picking up a Schwinn Voyageur SP from the mid 1980's pretty soon, looks something like this but from a different year: http://i.pbase.com/o6/83/635583/1/73984459.u99u70ex.SchwinnVoyageur_11.8.jpg Biking is the one form of exercise that I actually have fun doing, so I'm going to try and start riding the Olentangy trail near campus as much as possible.
  16. Bump for lower price, this is going up on Craigslist now for $50 but CR can get it for $40. Still OBO, next week I am going up to Cleveland for a few weeks to work and would really like to have this thing gone by then.
  17. Thanks, I'll let him know. Yes, in some of the gears it will jump teeth when pedaling hard, but it does alright when just cruising on flat surfaces. I'm pretty sure it's a combo of the derailleur being out of sync and the gears being worn down. I'm not sure how much this would all cost to fix, and again this is OBO so let me know what you guys think is fair.
  18. Do want. Just wish I had something to haul.
  19. Since when is a 2.7 something to pounce on? Fisher will kick you out of their program at OSU if you drop below a 3.0 for more than a quarter or two. If she was a straight A student, she'd have more of a case (though still not a legitimate one).
  20. A tip for buying books, check Amazon first and see if they have your book used. I've found 70 dollar books for 5 on Amazon, and sometime they have new books for cheaper than the stores also.
