That was with their "extreme pressure plate"

Miller still threw the ugliest looking balls today, so much for that small ball helping him. He threw 1 nice pass, which was the TD pass (btw I called that to my buddy sitting next to me before hand lol). Boom just proved my point that he is the best back on the team, welcome back! Word is Carlos Hyde sent out a tweet after the game saying "guess I'm not good enough anymore, I think i'll just go elsewhere"....also Rod Smith has been switched to Linebacker supposedly. Next year could be kind of thin at the running back spot if Hyde transfers and the Smith rumor is true. It'll be Hall, Berry and 2 true freshman, (1 of which might not even come to Ohio State, Brionte Dunn). Hey how about Meatchicken and those hideous uniforms being beat on by their little brothers haha.

Guess so....maybe because no company makes a clutch for a 4clyinder that can handle any sort of power in a normal configuration lol. Look at that clutch for example, its rated to 575hp and over 400ft/lbs of tq, yet couldnt hold 16lbs on a 62mm turbo for more then 1 pass. That was my only pass ever made on 16lbs and that clutch, all other passes were on 6-10. Now maybe some company makes one that holds up for evo's, sti's, dsm's that isn't a puck, but for a Honda its puck or bust. The sad part is the only option left is a twin disk.

The Beanie story is a well known story, I am actually suprised you never heard of that. ""I'm not sure he'll ever speak to me again, [but] I think it's the right thing to do," Tressel said."- in regards to telling Beanie he was not playing against USC in 08. No I was not overly impressed by Braxton, he had 95 yards rushing 29 of those on 1 play, he had 95 yards throwing, 1 of those on a 30+ TD pass that Stoneburner did all the work on, so again no not overly impressed. I too watched him play in highschool and I thought then "wow this kid will sit a couple years in college". BTW how about this power conference lol "IRVING, Texas/COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Mountain West Conference and Conference USA have unanimously come to an agreement in principle to consolidate their member football programs into one large association. Commissioners of the two leagues formulated this creative and innovative plan with the support of the presidents, chancellors and athletics directors. The 12 members of Conference USA and 10 football-playing members of the Mountain West will join forces for this strategic landmark in college football. "The role of a conference is to provide its members with the best possible environment in which to conduct their intercollegiate athletics programs," said Mountain West Commissioner Craig Thompson. "Rather than await changes in membership due to realignment, it became clear the best way to serve our institutions was to pursue an original concept. The Mountain West and C-USA share a number of similarities, and the creative merger of our football assets firmly positions our respective members for the future." "The potential of this association is very exciting," Conference USA Commissioner Britton Banowsky said. "By taking an innovative approach, we feel we can offer tremendous opportunities for exposure and stability without breaking up the regional rivalries that truly make up the college football tradition." UNLV President and Mountain West Board of Directors Chair Neal Smatresk said, "In an era of uncertainty in intercollegiate athletics, this collaborative partnership with C-USA lends stability and credibility to our collective football enterprise. We are excited about the prospect of having teams in five time zones and the many possibilities created by this extremely bold and proactive step." Conference USA Board of Directors Chair and Tulane president Scott Cowen said, "We are very pleased to be moving forward with the Mountain West Conference on this high potential, unique partnership. Together, we will better position our conferences and member universities for the future with its appeal and its reach across the United States." The current 22 members are located in 16 different states, offering a prospective 16-hour window for competition. Conference USA has existing television partnerships with Fox Sports and CBS Sports, as well as ESPN for its championship game. The Mountain West has partnerships with CBS Sports and Comcast/NBC Universal. The two conferences will merge into a separate football-only entity without affecting their status within the NCAA structure."

What about the haunted hospital, you know the one that if you make it through completely you get your money back? I don't know exactly where its at, but a friend of mine said her friend and brother went.... Oh wait that doesn't exist lol. went to haunted prison 2 years ago and it wasn't bad. I dont get scared by the people jumping out at you, its the eerie feeling of walking next to all those cells that kinda got to me.

Beanie wells injured his foot a ton and everyone was calling him weak even though he was damn near fist to fist with Tress before the USC game in Cali over it. Am I questioning him being hurt, absolutely not I saw the replay and he rolled it pretty good. But to pull yourself out of the game and then come back 6 days later is what alarms me. I have rolled, sprained and broken my ankle, that shit takes a while to heal no matter how bad you injure it. So if he is ok to play tomorrow he was more then likely ok to play the rest of that game. BTW hopefully OSU beats Illinois tomorrow, if not I really doubt a bowl game or .500 season happens.
-
Well of course theres going to be a huge difference when the backups name is Joe Bauserman lol. The reason OSU lost isn't because Braxton went out, its because they quit running the ball with Hyde (just like the Michigan State game) and the defense let down due to being on the field a ton
-
I agree that its a little premature to be talking NFL, I was just saying. I dont know any other qb that has used it as an excuse. BTW how many of those TD's did he score? 1, Hyde had a 63 yard run for another score, its not like Braxton single handidly put the team on his back and lead them to a 21 point lead. While he was a part of it he wasn't spectacular. His stats thus far: 25 for 47 with 388 yards, 4TDs and 2 INTs along with several fumbled snaps and fumbles. He has yet to complete more then 8 passes, while he his highest throwing total has been 15. So its not like he has lit the world on fire by his play on the field.

11.82@123.97 (we'll call it 124mph) 1.8 60ft with slipping clutch! Oh yeah turbo 4dr Integra The clutch for proof lol http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/Car%20Pics/4dr%20GSR/clutch-1.jpg Hoping to be a second or more faster next year

So what happens if/when he goes to the NFL? I have heard a lot of excuses with sports, but the ball being too big is one of the best. Maybe its the fact that he trys rocketing the ball Brett Favre style every damn pass. The kid throws one of the worst looking balls I have seen. In a highlight film every pass is great looking, I am curious if he had issues with lame duck looking passes, it'd be interesting to hear from a former WR of his in highschool. No matter the size of balls Miller prefers I dont think it changes the outcome much if any of the games they lost. I question his toughness a little bit too, an ankle sprain doesn't heal that much over 6 days yet he is able to start this week? All he had to do was stay in the game, hand the ball off to Hyde/Hall and make 1 or 2 passes and OSU wins vs Nebraska. Maybe its the "I am a Braxton Miller hater" inside of me coming out, but I am still not overly impressed with this kid. If Boom doesn't get a ton of carries this week Fickell should resign. People bitched and bitched about how Tress never played the best guy, well let me tell ya Boom is the best back. Look at his numbers from last year and through out his career, he's good. I like Hyde being the backup and getting a lot of carries too. Hall is way too small to try running up the gut like they have been, he needs to be used in a Percy Harvin/Reggie Bush type role. Which I have heard rumors of him playing some WR.
-
So they are taking 4 qb's? Who the hell gets left at home since these guys are now going? Also I wonder if Boom is going to be the starting running back or how they are gonna get him into action. He is the best back on the team minus the off the field bullshit

I don't buy the ball being the issue....

This thread has been dead all week lol

Yeah I figure I might as well put the side bars in there since swing out bars are legal.
-
Hmm jegs states in their ad "8, 10, and 12 point roll cages exceed NHRA and IHRA standards" As for it being custom, it will have to be as I am a big guy and don't want it to affect my seat position. So the bar that runs behind the seat will have to be bent where the drivers side seat is so I can drive the car comfortably lol. Ian can you pm me a price on having a cage done, the car is a 94 Integra 4dr with full interior, same thing goes for you too Leigh

They say if you have seen 1 zoo, you have seen em all. I tend to agree with that haha, Sunday we made our trip to the 3rd different zoo that we have visited this year. This time it was the Columbus Zoo and we had a couple friends and their baby tagging along with us. I am gonna assume more everyone reading this has been to the Columbus Zoo, if you haven't well then you should go check it out. While they have essentially the same exact animals as every other zoo across America, its close to home and cheap fun for people of all ages. The park is pretty good size and took us nearly 4hrs to walk all the way through. The park is set up to exhibit the different continents. The coolest one in my opinion is Africa due to the Gorillas, followed closely by Austrailia and North America. The aquarium is also a favorite of mine at the zoo. The only thing that really sucked about this visit was all the rude people that were also visiting. People would stand in front of the animals forever before moving on, pushing was common as was people just cutting in front of you like you weren't even there. If you can get past that, then you are good to go. One of the coolest things this paticular day was a female Orangutan that grew fond of our son. You will see in the pics lol. Anyways here are some random pics....stay tuned as this upcoming weekend we are off to the Pigeon Roost Pumpkin Patch on Route 40 near National Trails. 1. http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/Columbus%20Zoo/zoo2-1.jpg 2. http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/Columbus%20Zoo/zoo4-1.jpg 3. http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/Columbus%20Zoo/tysongorilla.jpg 4. http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/Columbus%20Zoo/zoo3-1.jpg 5. http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/Columbus%20Zoo/tysonsnake.jpg 6. http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/Columbus%20Zoo/zoo-1.jpg 7. http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/Columbus%20Zoo/hanging.jpg 8. http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/Columbus%20Zoo/tysonbriar.jpg

Lmfao, Jegs sells a kit for $139 dollars for my car, wonder how much the swing out bars are, guess I'll have to either car or look online.
-
"Crossbar and rear braces must be welded to main hoop. Sidebar must be included on driver’s side and must pass the driver at a point midway between the shoulder and elbow. Swing-out sidebar permitted." So swing out doors are ok after all? If thats true then I am cool with having the side bars
-
Sadly I have a feeling that my car is gonna end up with a roll cage in it at some point next year. With that said I am trying to figure out a few things. What ET's require what number of points in a cage? Also are swing out bars acceptable, I am a big guy and do not wanna climb over the damn bars that run down by the doors.

+1 I'll wait for it to be on demand, still haven't watched Thor

Thanks for the info guys, we was actually going to drive to NYC from home (Newark). Since its a group of us, we was just gonna rotate drivers every so often and drive straight through. Still may end up going on New Years Eve just to say we did it, but at the same time my biggest concern is my wife, I swear she pisses like she's pregnant (please god don't let her be again lol).

Didn't the man show do something like this 10 years ago? -
Well we was looking at getting a hotel outside of the city, looked at Newark New Jersey, but people seem to say getting from NJ to NY is an issue...got any suggestions? Also do the Ferrys run on the weekends?
-
Yeah it seemed like a cool idea, but the more I have researched it the more I have learned its a pain in the ass. I think we're just gonna go sometime before then or afterwards and go site seeing
-
Haha yeah watching it on TV sounds like the better option right now, we might still go up just to visit NYC before/after new years
