4/18/09:Got bored and painted my rims. Best part is the price tag. Only cost me 12bucks at lowes too lol. Even put the gf to work masking off. I tihnk they turned out good and I like em so fuck what you think lol 1. Well so far so good. They have been driven on over 200 miles already with no chipping, scratching or flaking

This was a spur of the moment type thing. If they end up failing then yeah I will order a nicer paint. I used laquer thinner to clean the wheel before and after sanding so they were nice and clean.

I used Lowes paint. I have used it before on rims and its held up over a 3 years now. Any paint will fail if its not prepped good and you don't use a primer which most kids dont.
