Kanye is beyond trying to gain attention, he is either on some drugs or has lost his mind all together. He has been ranting at every concert he's held for the last 1-2 months, like 20min long rants. I really think the illuminati has gotten to his head haha. BTW a police chief from Ohio (Brimfield) went in on him pretty good "Since you are accustomed to danger, from your life as an international rapper, I am strongly encouraging you immediately abandon you career as a super star and join the military." "After joining, I would like you to volunteer to be deployed in Afghanistan or one of the numerous other forward locations where our men an women are currently serving. When the Taliban starts shooting at you, perhaps you could stand up and let the words flow." "I’m sure they would just drop weapons and surrender. You could quite possibly end all wars, just from the enemy being star-struck." The letter ends, "What I do not get is you EVER comparing what you do for a living to our heroic military members, who are always in harm’s way… and my brother and sister police officers who have to go to work carrying weapons and wearing a bullet-proof vest to protect themselves." "Check yourself, before you wreck yourself….Chief Oliver."

It'll be interesting to see what happens at Texas. ESPN is now reporting that Mack is going to be out recruiting for Texas tomorrow morning. Do they fire him in the afternoon?
-
Next year? Bama, 2 years...Texas! They would give him a year to get his system and players in to place and then it'd be game on
-
I would think he's going to have pressure to perform regardless of where he coaches at, he's Nick Satan lol

93: 5-5-1 94: 8-4 95: 10-2-1 96: 8-5 97: 4-7 98: Mack Arrives goes 9-3 99: 9-5 00: 9-3 01: 11-2 02: 11-2 03: 10-3 04: 11-1 05: 13-0 06: 10-3 07: 10-3 08: 12-1 09: 13-1 10: This is where Macks troubles start 5-7 11: 8-5 12: 9-4 13: 8-4 currently about to face Oregon I would say that he's been pretty decent while at Texas and the fact that his teams did so well in the mid 2000's is what has lead to the pressure of him needing to duplicate that now.

This! The Cam Newton scandal didn't help there, not to mention going 3-9 in his final year there. As for being mediocre, Bama has had their fair share of it before Saban arrived 93: 1-12 94: 12-1 95: 8-3 96: 10-3 97: 4-7 98: 7-5 99: 10-3 00: 3-8 01: 7-5 02: 10-3 03: 4-9 04: 6-6 05: 10-2 06: 6-7 07: 7-6 08: Saban arrives and goes 12-2
-
I agree with everything but the bolded. I believe the pressure to win at Texas is a lot bigger than that of Bama. Before Saban, Bama sucked for the most part. I believe the pressure of winning after Saban (Bama's next coach) will be bigger than it was before he got there.

LOL Miles is crazy but I like him. I've watched a few things on him and he seems like a nice guy, just a little off the wall. A few weeks ago they had a reporter from ESPN with him and Miles ran a redlight, she was geeking out hahahaha
-
Saban is 62, I don't think that's really that old. Les Miles is 60 and no one calls him old

I just read that Bama offered him an extension and it's been sitting on his desk since Friday. They are saying he has been out recruiting for Bama, which is true cause he was at Glenville last night trying to poach 3 players who many feel are Buckeyes (1 is actually committed already to OSU). The longer the extension goes unsigned, the better the odds of him leaving for Texas become. I think he's gone regardless, look at his track record of leaving, it's worse than Urbans :lolguy:
-
I doubt we get anyone back that fans "want", it'll most likely be some guy that no one has on their radar. The hot job is going to be an assistant for Saban in Texas once he goes there. People thought he was scary recruiting at Alabama, imagine that guy with the talent of Texas at his disposal plus the lure or bringing kids to Texas. They will instantly become a threat year in and year out. The one good thing is I feel the SEC is on the decline, so maybe the media will stop sucking them off.

So the issue may be Withers? How many people feel Urban just pieced together a staff quickly for the sake of having a staff in place to hit the recruiting trail? Meaning that a lot of these guys aren't really Urban type guys. I think Fickell was kept as a favor for him basically taking one for the team the previous year, now it's a losing situation. If he's the problem and you fire him you'll have people screaming about how he was an OSU guy. If you keep him and the problem persist, well then you have people crying cause it's his fault. If guys haven't figured out how to play their role in the defense by their 4th and 5th year, is that really a coaching error or a player issue?
-
Maurice Clarett has been posting on his instagram that a church in columbus is taking them. Address is: 377 Alton Darby Creek Rd Galloway Ohio 43119
-
Withers is that guys name and he takes absolutely no heat from anyone, it all gets pushed to Fickell. I am pretty sure Fickell/Vrabel are in charge of the line and linebackers from what I have read. Maybe Zack or LJ will chime in to confirm/correct that
-
I would almost assume that if Fickell leaves, Vrabel goes with him. One of the main reasons for Vrabel being here in the first place is Fickell haha. I think he would take Vrabel with him and make him a d-line coach or maybe even a coordinator. I like what Vrabel has done while here and I think the kids really like playing for him, plus flashing Super Bowl rings to recruits never hurts.
-
I agree that some changes need to be made, the defense the last 2-3 years has been some of the worst I have ever watched play at Ohio State. I just don't think you can pin all the blame on 1 single guy. I think it's a combination of coaches and players who just aren't as good as they were billed to be, i.e Pittsburgh Brown
-
I really don't understand why Fickell gets all the blame? He is a CO-coordinator, meaning there is another guy to blame as well. Like it or not he held this program together for a year, yeah they weren't very good but not many kids transfered out when they could have easily done so. He helped land recruits, in fact he is one of the top recruiters from all reports.

That is correct 10 out of 15 is not bad at all. Would have been 11 had OSU been bowl eligible last year. Heisman invites released, 3 out of 6 from the SEC lol http://msn.foxsports.com/collegefootball/story/heisman-finalists-announced-jameis-winston-johnny-manziel-jordan-lynch-aj-mccarron-tre-mason-andre-williams-120913

In an ironic way it'd be funny if FSU lost. They would have lost the very first BCS game and the very last BCS game...both to SEC opponents.
-
FSU will roll Auburn, I will agree with Harmonda on that one. Auburn is a tipped ball and last second miracle away from being a 3 loss team. They are not a great team by any means of the word and their defense is suspect. FSU will hang points on them and be able to shut them down.
-
Don't feel bad for Bama, they will be in the 4 team playoff every single year along with another sEC team, count on it. The 4 team playoff will almost ensure 2 SEC teams in the NCG or at least do their best to ensure it. They will never play one another in the semi-final games.
-
Ironic OSU is facing a kid who many felt would be the qb here. Boyd had OSU in his final choices and picked Clemson. Imagine had he came here, we'd have Braxton a reshirt sophmore learning behind a pretty good quarterback with 2 years of eligibility left rather than just 1. One of the few players OSU lost out on who would have really helped this team, the other being Lamarcus Joyner who picked FSU. As for those team rankings for recruiting, look how many players Tennessee has taken in this years class and they aren't done. They very well could have close to 40 kids in 1 class haha. OSU will finish in the top 3-4 once it's all said and done. It's funny how OSU loses and suddenly all the ESPN guys claim they were pulling for OSU to win Saturday. I think they realize a bad SEC team lucked into the NCG and is going to get throttle by a very good FSU squad.

UGA is terrible due to injuries and I don't think any of those players are coming back for the bowl game. I'll take Nebraska in that game. Iowa may get ran through by LSU, but it depends on which Iowa team shows up. I think LSU wins but not by a ton.
