I think it's Heurman (I spelled it wrong originally), I have never read that actually. Not saying it isn't true, just saying it's news to me and I would have expected a lineman (offense or defense) to be the strongest.

BTW for some reason I think Huerman has future team captain written all over him. Seems like every OSU video I have watched this year, he is front and center. Hell watch that one again of OSU/Michigan and it's basically him vs Michigan until the rest of OSU shows up

Peterson has recruited well in California while at Boise. I think it will only improve now that he can push the fact that they will still be playing in the Pac12 and their families will still be able to watch them play. Seems like the Pac12 always hires top name coaches. I wish the B10 would do the same thing (outside of Urban)

Boise coach Chris Peterson to Washington. It's crazy he has turned down some pretty decent jobs recently, most notably USC only to end up at a place like Washington. I heard he prefers the Pacific Northwest and that's the reason he took the job.

Carlos Hyde pushed a girl in defense and got grilled by the media. Sat out 3 games for his "crime" and still gets grilled by the media to this day. Gotta love how they spin shit on certain people/teams. Oh well, I didn't want any excuses for an FSU beat down anyways. I'd rather OSU face them at their best and beat them at their best. It's sort of like beating up a drunk guy, he always has the excuse of being drunk, but if you blast him in the mouth while sober, that excuse doesn't exist haha.

2002 pass defense was ranked 88th (just looked up the thread on scout). Here are some of the LB/DB's OSU has lost or have not panned out in recent years 2009: Dominic Clarke (Safety): Transfered/asked to leave Dorian Bell: Transfered to Duquesne Jamie Wood (Safety): Plagued by injuries Jordan Whiting (MLB): Transfered Adam Griffin (why was he given a scholarship?) Has played mainly special teams and haven't even seen him out there lately Chad Hagan (Safety): I believe injuries did him in Scott McVey (MLB): Injuries? Jamel Turner (OLB): Got shot in highschool, never arrived at OSU (Bucknuts still believes he's dead) David Durham (OLB): was moved to FB and either transfered or quit due to injuries 2011: Connor Crowell (MLB): Done due to injuries Ron Tanner (Safety): Special teamer thus far Jeremy Cash (Safety): previously mentioned transfer to Duke 2012: Camren Williams (OLB): Looks terrible when in the game David Perkins (OLB): Transfered Devan Bogard (Safety): Injured Throw in the Price kid who commited but backed out at the last second (can't remember his class year). That is 15 (16 if you include Price) players at 2 positions of need for this team, who are not here or not performing for various reasons.

I think the loss of several DB's and LB's over the last couple years has killed OSU. Look at Jeremy Cash for example, transfers from OSU to Duke. What does he do there? Becomes 1st team all conference this year at Safety. The one position where OSU is hurting at the moment!

I feel its magazine worthy now! You ever notice how no bumpers actually line up in a lot of magazine cars, atleast not in Honda-Tuning haha. Maybe now is my chance to get in there, they did once tell me "my car wasn't the caliber of build they look for". Still haven't forgotten that haha

I read that our pass defense in 02 was actually ranked worse than this current one?

on pump 93 at that, we can call it 12 if that makes people more comfortable since it creeps there. Realistically on a different dyno it's prob 475-490ish if I had to guess. I don't get too caught up in dyno numbers since they don't win races. I currently have Supertech springs in it. I figured they were stiff enough until after we got it on the dyno and started talking. I looked up their specs to find that they are 10lbs less than what my cams "recommend". Maybe they would be enough, maybe they would not, I would rather not risk it and spend the $200 to buy new springs. Its not a huge deal to me as I am just happy to be driving it after 14 months of it being torn apart.

Umm it did ok, we had to limit it to wastegate pressure for now, 10psi. My valve springs are too weak for the new cams (completely over looked it), so I am going to upgrade the springs this winter and turn it up on some good gas. On the low reading dyno we use it made 400 on 10psi, to put that in perspective my buddies turbo gsr made 218whp on same dyno and proceedd to go 12.8@115mph. Last year my car made 404hp on 20psi on same dyno. I am going to say the cams made a huge difference, that and or the motor was hurt last year.
