  1. What Anthony said. If its ok, I'd like to give a nod to our supporters: Haydocy Pontiac (Chris Haydocy) Pedders Suspension (Pete Basica) Kauffman Racing Equipment (Jeff Kauffman) Backstreet Performance (Rich Johnson) Hillard Performance (Dave Hillard) Thanks to 5 great guys and their support of Pontiacs and our hobby. More sponsors are welcome if you are so inclined, let me know. Thanks, Lance
  2. Geez man, sorry to see this. Let me know if there is anything I can do...
  3. Sounds good, I'm waiting another sponsor verbal and then I'll make another run. Would you be able to print out a handfull and have on your car or something this weekend at Pinks???
  4. Pontiac's can register here... http://www.gtoaco.com/aspforms/dragreg.asp Thanks, Lance
  5. /\ American designers / engineers were involved the way I understand it. GM is Global, Holden is Austrailian / Pontiac is American. Pretty simple. All cars are basically global as far as I'm concerned but for this argument it seems to me you only can look at the Brand and where is it HQ'd.
  6. LOAs, Ebay Auctions for chances to buy (Thank you very little Dan Tobin and others across the country) and no hood scoops or split exhausts at first. Change all of that in 2003 and my guess would be we would have seen a very different story. Sorry, maybe one more day won't kill me...LOL.
  7. On to bigger and better things, 5 years of arguing the new age GTO was enough for me!. The Coupe 60 is a GTO or G8 Coupe not a Trans Am. It's a 2+2 Coupe not a Pony car. Anyways the thing is mean and with so much favorable response I'm sure something will happen with it! 2010 GTO: http://www.jillandnick.com/gmi_photos/gto_new.jpg
  8. George and Kalkoven were on Wind Tunnel the other night, very interesting. It all sounds very tentative and plenty of work to do. Still a great decision and I'm not exactly sure "buys ChampCar out" is accurate. Its interesting that Forsythe isn't talking, we'll see if he speaks up here soon... Mid Ohio should far surpass the great event held their last year though which is cool! Oh and screw Tony Stewart. It wil be interesting to see if any those jumpers come back to INDY now.
  9. I think they ruined it from Concept to production with those fat shoulders like every other Dodge...maybe once Dodge is all trucks, that will makes sense... Pretty cool auction though and the factory light weight they are planning is money!
  10. I looked into Mid Ohio vs our SCCA autoX event held at national trail last year for the GTOAA, it was indeed incredibly expensive but would have been worth had I thought I could've fielded the cars. This avenue and group makes it much more viable. I'll get the word out if this looks like it will happen to the GTO community, lots of road racers out there.
  11. I like the small family owned places the best and Westerville does have 2 really good ones but my favorite is the one right downtown, is that Carsoni's that someone mentioned? Bravo (Brio if at Easton but I think Bravo is better) favorite chain. Tat... is favorite high end.
  12. That is the cutest baby I've seen since mine were babies! Hey Carl...!
  13. Hey Baron, from PY right? Maybe Pacemakers up near Sunbury? 1/8 mile track that I believe is still there...
  14. Hope you guys had/have a great time. I couldn't seem to pass up a free Saturday with the kids and didn't want to take a chance in breaking the car before Woodward next weekend...
  15. I know Cozzo is but now I'm not sure I'm going. What time you leaving?
  16. A nice sun burn, 2 cases of Lite, decent racing, large crowd, free stuff, cool spectator cars, good eats makes for a pretty good weekend!
  17. It was a good time eh? Couldn't believe the crowd man! Check the Mid Ohio post...
  18. I've been going to MidOhio for maybe 10 years or so...biggest crowd I've ever seen. Just great. I had to go pack my trailer up and head home after the IRL race but wish I could've stayed for the Speed race. That's a yearly event for me now, we should try and get a section saved for us next year. I have a "few" contacts there that could probably make it happen. I couldn't believe no one had the grassy knoll next to the Paddock area, would have been perfect! Let me know what interest there is and I'll see what I can do for next year. Maybe a combo deal with us, buckeyegoats and other local forums...
  19. Stop by your local Honda or Acura dealer for some free weekend passes, I did!
