That's a four-link. He's only looking to go in a straight line with that thing.

No, that's still Sushi. Sushi refers to the vinegared rice. Sashmi is the raw fish all by itself with no rice. The difference is that the ones with the fish on top are called Nigiri or Nigirizushi. The rolls are Maki or Makizushi. Interesting fact: Sushi was originally Japanese fast-food for the working-class.

Got to be the receiver on the opener itself.

Seems like the rear would be the weak link. Not only is there no weight over it, but leaf springs just don't work when it comes to handling. I'm not familiar with the numbers involved, but judging by the hop I see under pickups on the road, it must be near impossible to properly damp leaf springs. If you want to keep a live rear axle, I guess you could look into the rear frame/suspension from a first gen Camaro or other muscle car. They can be made to handle. But if you're going to be hacking the rear frame off anyways, might as well go for an independent rear like the Jaguar IRS that the Cobra and Street Rod guys use.

I wouldn't say I was obsessed... Though, if I didn't know it was highly improbable, I'd say I was conceived in my father's '67 Stingray. My first memories are of playing with toy cars and being fascinated with them and the real thing. Nothing soothed me better as a baby than riding in a car. Growing up, I wanted nothing more than to race and design cars. My parents thought it was neat, but my father had left his car days behind and other than a go-cart at one point, I never really had the opportunity to really chase my dreams. As I entered High School, I was eventually convinced by the world that there were "better" careers than those in the Automotive industry. I wanted to go to a Tech school so I could work on cars, but my parents said that I'd never get into a good college if I went to a Tech school. (My mother now admits that I should have gone to the Tech. ) Eventually, I discovered computers and those satisfied my gadget lust, and I steered my career leanings towards computers. That had mixed results. I tried to do the corporate thing. I tried to do the Private sector thing. I tried to do the box-store thing. I even tried doing it on my own. And now I'm burnt out on the whole thing. So now, I'm living the simple life. No wife/girlfriend. No kids. No house. But I'm back to playing with cars again. I get to race them. I get to work on them. And I get to own some nice ones. I work at an Advance Auto Parts with no corporate ladder above me. And you know what? I'm content. I'm finally *happy* for the first time in my adult life. If you're never happy with what you've got, then you'll never BE happy. Bust your ass 60 hours a week, year after year, promotion after promotion, decade after decade, and what's at the end? A nice house to hold your wake in. If you don't enjoy life as you live it, you're going to miss it when it's gone. So am I obsessed? I've got car parts in every room of my apartment and I'd rather spend my money on my car than a girlfriend or family. You might call it obsessed. But I call it contentment. I'm happy. What are you?

Good for take-home if you need it fast, Aki Hana is right down the alley there. Any Restaurant will have issues during the meal rush. This is why I try to never go to a restaurant during lunch/dinner time. I hate feeling crowded and hurried.

Aki Hana in the Kenny center off Old Henderson. Kikyo on Riverside is a close 2nd.

Here comes the anti-headphone legislation. I wonder how many letters CSX will get from people saying the trains should have better brakes...

LOL, love that video. This one always hurts my brain: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vXyIB2L52Dc But I was introduced to Aphex Twin by "Come to Daddy." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Az_7U0-cK0 What's funny is that I have a friend that looks JUST like him with sunglasses on. It's kinda freaky actually.

Sweet. I went to the one last year, and was disappointed they didn't do it again this year. I hope to be there for next year. Not sure if I want Summit Club seats again.. The less people around was nice, but it was freakin' LOUD. The Top Fuel dragster nearly shook my eyeballs out.

What's funny is that I could see that sound becoming a staple. Aphex Twin is awesome too. Different style, but still cool. The dude's freaky though. He puts his face on EVERYTHING.. even in his music. (skip to 5:25 if you don't want to listen to the crappy audio) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u-KMFxzA_Lk

Love F1 engines. They're like Gems (and about as expensive too). The amount of engineering that goes into them is just astounding. With the banning of refueling next year, it's going to be interesting to see if teams go for higher efficiency and lighter cars, or heavier cars with this year's engines. I hope it will be a mixture of both. The KERS vs no KERS thing was cool to see. Though they're dropping KERS for 2010. TONS of team shakeups for next year too. Big shocker: McLaren bought out Daimler's stake in Vodaphone McLaren Mercedes and Daimler has gone on to take ownership of one of the new teams and make a true Mercedes team. I'm VERY interested to see how both teams will do.

Another, "How do you feel about this car" Thread
Draco-REX replied to Farkas's topic in Pics and Vids
Six-piston calipers and a big-brake upgrade (with rotors that look like swiss cheese) on all-seasons?? Dumb Sorry, throw this one in the bin. -
Thanks, but likely overkill. I'll probably just cobble something together.

The Arcade edition doesn't have a harddrive. You'll need to get one to D/L the second disk. The drive is DEFINITELY worth it! The downloadable content for other games, demos, videos, etc will make you thankful you have a drive. The second disk for Forza 3 is worth having as well. More tracks and cars.

HOLY FUCK. I love how you see the other car get a head start, then the Nova blows past it like it's parked. As for what makes a street car.. The above rules are good. But it doesnt' mention anything about cooling. It should be able to be driven in traffic. Which means an adequate radiator and fan. THough this car apparently meets that requirement if they went cruising in it. Awesome car.

I need a really simple switch panel made up. It has to fit into a single DIN pocket where a radio would go. I'll handle locating and drilling the holes for mounting and switches. I just need a panel with two sides, preferably aluminum and thick enough so it won't bend from the switches (maybe 3/32" or 1/8" you think?) Rough outer dimensions are 7.2" x 2.11" x 5" I can provide a "pocket" for sizing if needed. So, can anyone help me out? Thanks.
