I would think they used some type of oil specifically for the break in period. I changed the oil in my 08 Civic si when it reached 700 miles and threw in some royal purple.

well ive had it a few times and its not fun. if you want it to go away fast, put some murphy's wood detergent over the infected areas. i know it sounds weird, but it dries the rash up and goes away in a few days!

well honestly i have no clue. like i said the z was given to me and i started saving up for the civic when i was around 9 or so. i guess you can always find a way to get what you REALLY want! and thanks for the welcome everyone. i didnt expect this much attention!

all the turbo z31s came w/ the scoop but i dont think the non-turbo versions did. im an all around z fan aswell, and always loved the colors on the 10th anniversary. good to know im not the only z owner on here! :burn:
