Every time Wagner or I has gone down there nobody seems to know how to do it, then they seem confused when it's not totally empty but a half full bottle is no good when you only have one bottle as most people do. Last time they said the bottle was broken and they couldn't fill it, I later proved that it was fine. So like I said it's just been a pain. Back when I used to go to the E Main store I had none of these issues.

I was riding my motorcycle back from cinci and my rear side bag broke off and was on my exhaust. I was on the side of the road looking for any string / rope / strap to rig it up to get home. Not even 5 minutes after pulling over a guy stopped and asked if I was ok. He worked at a harley dealer in Florida and was just passing through. He hooked me up with a strap and got me on my way. He said anytime he sees a bike on the road he stops to see if he can help.

 

Once I stopped to help a lady change her tired and she must have been scared shitless. She cracked her window down and said her husband will be there soon..

My Explorer would do this all the time. The window would do down and not back up. The decide to randomly go up when I moved the switch again.

I took the door panel off and put 12v to the motor and the window went up and down.

It was the switch. I also had another switch from a similar vehicle I could test with.

I said EFF It and ordered some Bilstein 5100's and lower bushings. The Daystar spacer kit can get returned.

I'm going to cut the old struts out replace the bushing and be on my way.

+1. I'm thrifty, but have learned a while ago when rusty suspension bolts don't come off with 500-700lb/ft from an impact gun, it's time to cut-wheel/torch, air chisel and get a new bolt and/or bushing. Will save you time in the long run.

I agree with Rocky, PB soak it, heat it and air hammer it. This is when those 3 hours suspension jobs become 8 hour suspension jobs

you can try and save the bolt when you do the above approach by putting the nut back on just flush with the head.

 

also...when in doubt, get a bigger hammer

Those are the control arm bolts....They are just as bad if not worse :fuuuu:

The thing is seized. The bushing turns when you turn the bolt. (very common issue from what I am reading)

Ive tried everything short of a torch.

I have new bolts and nuts from Chrysler.

I tried to have Chesrown get the bolt out and they said they'd rather not.

Who can get this bolt out so I can get my lift kit installed?
