Ive never bought a refurbished TV but i have bought ipods and cameras and they work just like new and typically carry a manufacturer warranty. I would just do my research and buy. Tigerdirect is a good .com company.

My daughter is only 13 months but I remember when i was a kid. I loved cars Semi trucks mostly. I could pick out different makes by the headlights and stack orientation,I guess that could explain my love for diesel trucks.
