early 2004 TL's have the same transmission issues as the 2001-2003 models, as for the later 2004-2006 TL's they have torque converter issues

trans warranty was extended to 120k SRS lights for the OPDS system is extended to 140k, seat belt buckles/belts are lifetime warranty sometimes the buckle will set a SRS code

I vote ford lighting, tbss, or G8 as for the Euro cars they're expensive to maintain so I would stay away from those (my opinion) but it all comes down to what you wanna tear up next....I mean drive next
