I dont care where I posted it. I just wanted to get it first dammit! But, yeah Im kind of a loser. And it was like 10:30- 11:00 am. What else should I be doing at that time in the morning?

All I said was that if you think of it that way then you wont get as upset. Jeeze. Im just tired of people getting all upset when shit like this happens. Bad things happen constantly and that will never change. I just dont see the point in getting upset about this kinda shit. Yes, we all know that people are stupid and shitty and when they form a crowd, something bad will most certainly happen.

So Ive read all this stuff and I have re-evaluated what I think I want. Im thinking either an F Body or (thanks to rob) Im gonna start looking at wrx's. I dont know anything about wrx's though so Im gonna start doing a little research on them this evening. My only good arguments for the wrx is that its all wheel drive which will be great all year long and I will still have enough space to fit 4-5 passengers. So I think Im gonna shop around for both until I find a good deal. Unless the wrx is a shitty choice then, probably f body.

Yeah Ive seen alot of that kinda stuff. When I bought my spec v I was only making about 24k that year and the car was 11k total and I was able to afford it just fine even with higher rent than Im paying now. But, now Im paying slightly less rent and Im now making about 34k a year so I think I should have no problem affording something in the 15k price range.

So the SS is just a different suspension? Whats different motor wise?

Duct Tape and a large closet can fix that problem. lol j/k

So they can be built to handle well? Well, Im sure anything could be BUILT to handle well but, can these be pretty solid twisty cars for a fairly affordable price?

Something I just noticed. The thread title is "isnt american consumerism great". You realize in like africa or a bunch of other places, people would run up in that bish with and AK and just spray everyone down until they got what they wanted. Not that I agree with anything that our society does or anything like that but, its just a thought.

Oh, how much do you think one of those oscar meyer weiner mobiles are? If they are under 100k I would get one of those too.

There was a kid in canal who had one of those. He put a couple grand in maintenance and repairs on it and then traded it for an old busted cadiallac. I almost shit myself when I heard what he did. I think he's younger than me too. It was a ridiculous situation.

Well lets do the math. If it was like 100 people that ran over him and each of those people saved maybe $200-$300. Then there would be a total savings of around $20-$30k. Now Ive heard of people putting out "hits" on people for as low as $500 so if you look at it that way, there werent enough people killed. I just like to think of it as natural selection. its makes it easier to not get all upset.

That is very true and I was actually thinking about the whole handling thing today. I dont think f body's handle to well either do they? Believe me I would love a vette but I dont know if I can afford one. All the affordable ones have high mileage and I dont want to have something go bad on me right away. But, I guess thats what you're for right? If it breaks you can help me fix it.

So the best part about this whole thing is that I was getting dressed and ready upstairs when this happened and I heard it on the tv downstairs. I knew when I heard the song that something was up so I dropped everything and ran downstairs to make sure it was what I thought it was. lol. Then I ran to the comp to post up what I had seen but someone else had beat me to it. It was amazing.

I just found 3 mach 1's for under 15k. I even found an 04 cobra for 16k w/ only 15k miles on it and 450whp! I can only find auto trans ams. And I did find a few good camaro deals that I may look into. Lucky for me, Im not a ford or chevy guy so Im not biased. Im just lookin for a good deal. lol
