  1. 120 roll for $40? J/K Welcome.
  2. I may stop by for a minute. We already talked about how Im a little girl and how Ive got to go to bed early. Ill stop and buy him a shot and then leave immediately afterwards. lol Happy B-Day Fag!
  3. I can help on saturday evenings and sunday/ mondays. Just post up here when youre ready and Ill give you a call for more info. Or you can PM when you need the help. I dont have any hauling vehicles to offer but, I can lift stuff.
  4. Thats what Im starting to think too. I was just trying to be nice and help him out a little bit. I told him there were a bunch of gun nuts on here and that I thought there were a few class 3 guys so he asked me to post it up but, this is far more of a pain in my ass than what I signed up for so Im removing this and Im gonna make him go at it on his own. Sorry for all the fuss people. *Please lock this up*
  5. He said he cant remember the month and he's working right now but, he said it was in 86'.
  6. He's got more than one and he wants this one gone. Plus the cost of all the taxes and license fee's and other crap is pretty outrageous.
  7. Updated in first post. Sorry for the fuck up. Just posted it the way he asked me to.
  8. Ill call you tomorrow. Its too late now for me to actually absorb any amount of schooling. lol. Its bed time.
  9. Thats what I was thinking. Do the mustangs and Turbo Coupes use "pull" or "push" style pressure plates. I read somewhere that they were "pull" style. Not that it matters, Im just curious. How else could I find out if the clutch will work? I know its a good price even if I can only use the tranny but, Im on a TIGHT budget for this build and Id love to get more for my monies. And while Ive got your attention. How much will a good running condition carburated 302 cost typically. I need to know how much to start saving.
  10. So a guy from work offered me a world class T5 and clutch for $100. Its off of a Turbo Coupe, I already have a T5 bellhousing for a 302. He said the clutch is 10.5" and I need to know if the Turbo Coupe clutch will work with a 302. Neither of us were sure. Thanks for any input. Sorry if I worded this in a confusing manner.
  11. The Z-Car display was the only reason I went to the auto show. I happened to see some other cool shit while I was there too but, the Z cars took the win. The white one that was next to that one was pretty sweet too.
  12. n/a Rx7 vs n/a Supra. This shit is gonna get crazy.
  13. Can someone say butthurt? You think you can run 14's huh? Finally someone slow enough for me to race! Lets line them up. And quit whining. And painting your car flat black with bronze wheels is not a "sleeper" look. A sleeper would blend in with everything else on the road, I dont see very many flat blacked anything's on a regular basis. Save your painting money for things that make you go/ handle faster.
  14. It was very minor. I was able to get it down to clean metal. Mostly just surface rust, there was some very slight pitting in one spot but Im not too worried about it. The car will stayed stored out of the elements and Ill keep an eye on it. Plus I dont have a welder or the skills/ money to do it that way.
  15. Im not too worried about the engine and hood clearance stuff just yet. Its gonna be a while before I can afford to do any of that. Ive got a couple tubs full of parts that I still gotta put on, so IM gonna do all my free stuff first. I may get in contact with you for that block. I just dont have extra cash for it right now.
  16. Probably 302. Its seems to be the most cost effective. Im trying to keep this pretty cheap.
  17. The first one is with the rear carpet cut and fitted to the cage. The second one was my first attempt at a drivetrain. It dropped right in and fired right up but, didnt last too long... I forgot to feed him. Also, see what he's holding? Those are my headers for a 302 swap. (thanks clark) http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff241/mx3onfalkens/0329090016.jpghttp://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff241/mx3onfalkens/0327092115.jpg For those who were wondering, its and Alex swap with VTAK!
  18. Here are some interior shots. You can see all the wiring that is currently giving me some headaches. I got a buddy who is really good with electrical stuff coming over tonight or tomorrow. We'll get this shit tackled pretty quickly Im hope. http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff241/mx3onfalkens/0328092302a.jpghttp://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff241/mx3onfalkens/0328092302.jpghttp://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff241/mx3onfalkens/0328092301a.jpghttp://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff241/mx3onfalkens/0328092301.jpg
  19. Here are some of the engine bay where I sanded down some rust on the frame and the bottom half of the brake booster. I still want to put a few more coats on just to make sure it wont some back. http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff241/mx3onfalkens/0328092241.jpghttp://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff241/mx3onfalkens/0328092241a.jpghttp://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff241/mx3onfalkens/0328092258.jpghttp://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff241/mx3onfalkens/0328092259.jpghttp://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff241/mx3onfalkens/0328092259a.jpg
  20. Here are some pics of the caged car. These are the ones I got from Clark. http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff241/mx3onfalkens/rx7.jpghttp://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff241/mx3onfalkens/rx72.jpghttp://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff241/mx3onfalkens/rx78.jpghttp://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff241/mx3onfalkens/rx73.jpghttp://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff241/mx3onfalkens/rx74.jpghttp://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff241/mx3onfalkens/rx77.jpg
  21. So as some of you know, I bought JelloMan's (Clark) FC's. One is gutted with a full cage and no drivetrain. The other runs (rough) and is the parts donor. So far I fixed a vac leak on the driver and it now runs a little smoother but, not much. Im going to just drive the car as is for a while so that I can get a little more comfortable with the car and RWD. Last night I got a small start on the caged car. I started to go through the wiring in the car so that I can re-run everything. I was able to find where a few things go but, I still have a bunch of work to do with it. I also found quite a few cut wires that I have no idea where they came from. I plan on using nice color coded wiring diagrams thanks to Mitchell to help figure out where the rest of this shit goes. I also took care of a spot in the engine bay where the master cylinder was leaking and had caused some fairly minor surface rust. I sanded back down to the metal and coated with some rattle can paint. While I was in there I found another rust spot that I didnt see before and it doesnt look too bad so it should be an easy fix just like the other spot. I also decided to fit the rear carpet around the roll cage since it was a nice easy little job to do. Thats all I got for now. I will update once I get some more done.
  22. Yup. Sure will. Thanks again. I found a vac leak and the car is running a little better now. Still has a slight miss though. Ill find that tomorrow. Im super excited about this build.
