How did you pay? If you paid with a credit card then you can tell them you will do a chargeback and it will hit them directly as it was not done correctly and not willing to work on a refund.
I was going out of town so I happened to have cash on me :fuuuu:

This.
That is beyond pathetic.
Corperate was supposed to call me back yesterday, never did. I called this morning and now waiting on a response back, I told them I want my money back and will do it myself.
-
They also gave it back without a alignment, wow.
-
That stinks man, nothing worse then making a useless trek to find out something's junk.
It's hard to find good dealers. I got lucky with a dealer 2 hours away when I boight my Dmax luckily. They even sent high res shots of inside the coolant resivour and other detailed pics I asked for.
-
Kinda looks like they just reused it, threads look like crap and they forgot to put the washer in haha

the side by side shots so how much more "supercar" the 7 looks than c5/c6.
If it were lowered, possibly. But in person they look off because of how high they sit. But these grow on me everyday. It would have been nice to see this come with a odd-ball twin turbo V6 or something.

A faulty balljoint my ass! Looks like the threads are there to me, and the ball didn't break out of the socket. Please post the shop specifically so others don't go there.
I'm in NC. It was at a Goodyear location, I would have went to the GMC dealer that works on commercial trucks but they couldn't squeeze me in.
-
No way in hell I'd let them repair that. Refund is the only acceptable answer
They claim a faulty ball joint. I just think it wasn't tightened all the way. I heard a noise on and off but haven't been driving the truck much at all and this was done under a month ago.
Like I said I spoke with the corperate office earlier and have yet to hear a response from them. The actual shop was sorta rude when I first spoke with them this AM, then he changed his tune after that call was made. I think I had like $1,500+ in a few suspension bits and front brake work. Doubt they will refund
Picking the truck up in a hour, can't wait to see if they did a alignment. When they did the work the first time they couldn't align the truck because it had 19inch wheels. AKA they didn't realize the center cap comes off..
-
Oh for sure, I mean if it had a nut and it backed off how long was it loose and possibly damaging the spindle where the ball joint shaft rides at. At minimum id demand that spindle and ball joint be replaced and at least a refund since that could of been a bad crash!
They just called and are replacing the whole control arm, but that's what I had replaced in the first place. I filed a complaint with corporate. See where that goes
-
Don't take it back there, have a competent shop do the repair, get a refund for the work they did.
I asked and they refused. I might try and call the corporate number
-
wow that could of ended alot worse, keep us updated to their response.
Yeah seriously. As of how things are sounding I might be on the hook for the alignment, There's no way I will cave to paying a dime on this screw up.
Three hours later and they agreed to sending a tow truck. Assholes

Sexxy. I'm starting to like that rear end.
Likewise, Although it looks way better on certain colors. I saw a odd colored red one and it was hideous

Unique, I like

A little under a month ago I was heading out of town and was taking my truck, The brakes and a few suspension bits could have used replacing but I didn't have time to deal with it myself. Not that I wanted to anyways.. Tried getting it in at a GMC dealer but they had no slots available. Ended up bringing it to a Goodyear.... I get it back and notice it stops worse then it did when I brought the thing in with stock brakes that had near 120k on them. My truck has 19.5 inch wheels that they claimed were too big and they couldn't align the truck, took it across the street to Firestone after and a worker said he has worked at both places. Same machine and bits. Well this morning out of nowhere the truck feels like it's on ice, and I notice the steering wheel is way out of place. The control arm they replaced is completely out! had to rant! This is why you do your own work!

A co-worker out of state has one, think it has higher miles on it now and loves it. No issues

Try selling the car privately first

144! Nice!!

Awesome truck, + 1 on checking the load range on those tires.
Love my 3500 duramax as well
-
Impressive. That's a ton of work for a v6 mustang, best of luck
-
Not really interested, needs a stick to raise my pulse in the least.
Spoken like a caveman who hasn't driven something worthy of changing his perception

I'm really leaning towards purchasing one of these, with mild mods it looks like a really fun car.
Edit: Just sent info in to pre-book. Fak it
-
Impressive.

I hate to admit but I like this car... It doesn't look all that bad and had some very nice specs, but I read it's going to be 70+k.... Ouch

Adv.1 are complete junk. Stay away

I've never had such a terrible experience with a shop. It took almost three hours to get the tow truck that they setup and were going to pay for. I was told everything was good to go and I should see them in under a hour, I called back in 1.5 hours and was given the tow companies contact info to call myself! They never even called. It's one thing after another with this place
