me and tyler have already been there, you just joined late lol. ^ my point exactly. if you want something fast, why not buy something that is already decently quick anyway and start from there. with the the money your gonna waste on that civic, you could pick up a decent LT1 and maybe even a few bolt ons for it and have a solid 13 second car without even touching the motor.

yea i know, but at least i can run 13's with a half ass built motor in a 3300 pound car.

ok, so this brings me back to a point a made earlier. You say you make a decent amount of money, but then you say you have all these expenses basically. You do realize that it is gonna cost you quite a bit of money to be able to beat even a stock V8 car with that civic, even then it probably wont be all that realible with that crap your wanting to do. people are bashing you and your car because your 32 years old and talking about modding a civic, Leave that crap to the little 16 year old kids that just got their liscenses and love fast and the furious. and you call us a bunch of kids, and yea most of us are some what young, but obviously were smarter than you cause we all know better than to waste our money on a civic...

maybe you should think about what you actually said before you start trying to bash other people. no you never directly said "street racing", but talking about the "racing scene" is basically the same thing. how many people have you heard talk about the racing scene in reference to street racing as compared to going to a drag strip?

so basically what your saying is, you want to mod a car that you will have to spend thousands of dollars on, just to beat a stock V8 car?.... people make no sense to me sometimes... ill give ya credit though, at least your talking about adding power to the thing unlike this retard that was in jegs earlier. He tried to tell one of the guys working there that he had just bought this civic and it was so badass cause it had altezza tail lights, a body kit and some other random ricer crap.

not only that, if you dont swap the motor to at least a lesser mileage one, you wont have a running car for very long period. I wont even attempt to mod anything with 211XXX miles on it. take phils advice and get something a little more worth modding.

it will be here shortly. it was running consitant 14.0-1's last year with no traction, but i bought drag radials for it that are like 2 inches shorter than my street tires and its fucking with the pcm. ive got 32 pound fuel injectors and waiting on some long tube headers that are coming in about 2 months. after i get it tuned with that ill race ya for some money lol

as of right now it seems to like the 14.4 area at about 92 mph
