  1. I agree that the COP pushes lower spark capacity than the stock coils without CDI's. I disagree with the comment of most add COP setups for the looks. We add COP and CDI's for the adjustability of these setups. Timing advance, Two Steps, Increased spark under high boost applications, Longer spark duration cycles, easier startups and warm ups, not to mention smoother idle and street drivability. Don't get me wrong, Im sure your car is fast and I know there are as many different setups in 10 second and faster DSM's as there are owners but I have yet to see a car that doesn't benefit from COP's and CDI's especially in applications of boost exceeding the mid 20's. I could easily comment that running 2 or 2.5 inch intercooler piping into a 3 in upper pipe does nothing but increase turbo lag but Im not going too.
  2. Thanks all for the friendly welcomes and member access to the rest of CR, I've been looking through the site and looking forward to getting to know you all... we'll most of you anyway.
  3. AEM ecu, AEM uego, MSD ignition.
  4. Thanks all for the kind comments. No official track times for lack of safety equipment, however Tym Switzer tuned and drove the car with a 20g on it and said he guaranteed it was doin low 11's, which I believe was true considering he was the first to drive a dsm into the 10's with the same set-up. Its now putting down almost 100 hp more on pump gas and the 30r at 25lbs than it was with the 20g at 27lbs and 112 cam 2.
  5. Sorry forgot Pictures were mac formatted, just click on pic to enlarge.
  6. I bought my first DSM in 1992 and have been hooked ever since. My current car is a 96 Eclipse GSX 6bolt/swap. Car is Buschur built stage 3, and I'm currently running a 30R turbo from Forced Performance. Car was tuned on pump gas by D. Buschur to 442 whp [Mustang Dyno] and am going back for Q16 tune as soon as work slows down a bit. Sorry for the poor quality pics, will post up better when it stops raining. http://gallery.mac.com/dennishanna/100008 http://gallery.mac.com/dennishanna/100015 http://gallery.mac.com/dennishanna/100025 http://gallery.mac.com/dennishanna/100029 http://gallery.mac.com/dennishanna/100031
