I'd like to get rid of this stuff, so I lowered ALL prices.

Hey guys, I haven't been on in a long time. I parted out my Turbo'd 2004 Tiburon, and these are the remaining parts. All items have a Craigslist post and pics are all there. However, if anyone has a problem with that, I'm happy to post them here or take more pics if needed. I will try to keep this post updated as things are sold. You can also get a hold of me at chadgrooms@gmail.com or 614-517-2056. Thanks for taking a look! *Update* Sold items removed and prices lowered on all items Glowshift Volt Gauge - $15 - http://columbus.craigslist.org/pts/2558838603.html Glowshift Oil Pressure Gauge - $15 - http://columbus.craigslist.org/pts/2558831147.html Jegs Battery Kill Switch Kit With Push Bar - $50 - http://columbus.craigslist.org/pts/2558826812.html 2.5" Magnaflow Cat - $15 - http://columbus.craigslist.org/pts/2558855746.html

Wing is optional, stickers are required. RWD preferred, FWD/AWD is ok as long as you learn to "powerslide."

AEM F/IC (10-1910, for v6) Brand new in box, $330. I'm in the Blacklick area. http://www.heratik.net/tib/teardown/aemfic1.jpg http://www.heratik.net/tib/teardown/aemfic2.jpg Here's a link I found for some details: http://www.corsportusa.com/store/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=2184

Ha, guess I should have specified. Just going back to mostly stock. At least now I belong there.

Well, I'd like to sell these items locally/cash because Paypal takes a cut, shipping materials cost, and shipping is a bitch to deal with due to first shift. However, I think $20 or so should offset everything, so I could do $70 shipped. Let me know if that works for you and I can send you my paypal info. Ok, thanks. Actually no, that car is a lame clone of mine. Up close it's a disaster. Some kid with an i4 pushing maybe 110 at the wheels. Ironically, I do live right off of waggoner, but I'm in a neighborhood near Meijer. Hyundais (Tiburons specifically) are known for their horrible resale value and I've seen too many amazing boosted tibs sit for a year or more at 50% or less what they should be sold for. I'm fine with keeping the car as it is. It's a fine DD.

Due to purely financial reasons, I am parting out. I'm in the blacklick area and available after 5:30 during the week, and any time on the weekends. Most of the stuff is off the car, and I'm working on the rest over the next 2 days or so. Here's what I have that's universal... AEM UEGO - $150 http://www.heratik.net/tib/turbobuild/wideband1.jpg Zox 2005 Snell approved helmet, like new, XL - $50 http://www.heratik.net/tib/helmet/helmet1.jpg Jegs battery relocation kit with hardware, breather tube, and full length 0 gauge battery cable and 3-4 ft 4 gauge neg (cheaper due to a couple extra holes I drilled that you might want to plug, still in great condition) - $90 http://www.heratik.net/tib/turbobuild/batteryreloc2.jpg Glowshift Volt Gauge (Tinted 7 Series) - $20 Glowshift Oil Pressure Gauge (Tinted 7 Series) - $20 Battery kill switch with push-bar and long 6 gauge (I think?) alternator cable - $80 http://www.heratik.net/tib/killswitch/switch8.jpg Vacuum distribution block (some oxidation on fittings, works perfectly, picture below is when I bought it in February this year) - $20 - Pending sale http://www.heratik.net/tib/2010projects/vacdist1.jpg Blue Shift light (I cut a small area of metal on the mount. Not noticeable when mouted - $20 http://www.heratik.net/tib/2010projects/shiftlight.jpg I also have a complete turbo system and several other Tiburon-specific items, but I'm not going to bother listing them all, since I'm one of about 3 in the city that mods these things. If you're interested, shoot me a PM.

Yeah, I will say that seeing all bands on stage was epic and made the show worth seeing.
-
For the record, the sound was shit, it wasn't live like it was deceptively advertised (I'm sure there was a disclaimer somwhere), the attendance was lame, and it should have been called the big 1, little 3.
-
Anyone else going? Sucks that the closest we'll ever get to it is a theater, but I guess it's better than watching a shitty cam on Youtube. EDIT: I guess I should mention for those of you that don't know what it is -- A live showing of the Anthrax/Megadeth/Slayer/Metallica concert from Bulgaria. NOT COMING TO THE US!
-
According their site, $15. Youch. I've seen plenty of spectators get in for free though.

Trails.

:finger: I never talked shit on it. It's either gonna be really cool or a big disaster...either way it will be entertaining. EDIT: Though I did call out the organizer on why they picked such a laughable name. No response.

Agreed. I started with my catch can inline/under vacuum and then I switched to a vented catch can. The catch can filled very slowly under vacuum (about 5-6 months before I bothered emptying it), but when I vented the can I ended up with a full can of mostly water-based gunk after about 2 months, which I can only assume is due to water vapor from the can being vented.

I'm probably going as long as it isn't downpouring, now that you called me out on it.

I'll be there.

Told my wife I was going to the garage for 15min...
heratik replied to RC K9's topic in Passing Lane
So true. I convince myself a project will only cost so much and will only take "a couple hours" or a day at the most. ...A week later I am driving the wife's car, she's pissed, I'm burning through money for supplies and tools, and I just broke something that cost more than the part I am replacing. Rinse and repeat. -
^ It's got a lot of really nice features and is super easy to use, and with Facebook integration it's less of a headache to talk people into signing up. I'm sure it would be just fine for CC&C. Also, I personally like sites like meetup because it keeps amateurs from making "web pages" resembling pre-y2k Angelfire/Tripod disasters. Eh, at least these kids are trying to get something going. I can't even get the motivation to get a meet set up with my friends.

Couldn't have been. My Hyundai is on jackstands right now.
-
Ugh, the turbo is still in Florida being rebuilt, otherwise I'd be there. ...where ever there is. Missing the whole damn season.
-
What a great read and build. Thanks for documenting! Funny, from my experience the least cocky people in the scene are usually the ones doing the most.
-
Yep. Bottom line, I laugh with D&J; they keep me entertained. I cringe at every B&T joke, skit, and conversation.

Bob and Tom will be gone within "the next few weeks," according to the announcement today. I still can't stand the same tired song rotation, but the Blitz format is infinitely better than that spandex-laced Rock format. The whole town-hall/voting/announcement process was actually really cool to watch unfold. I think they are on their way to getting back in my presets. Still can't beat Dave & Jimmy though. Damn I love that show.

Replied. Thanks!
