If I was to buy this, I'd pay between 8-9k in good body/mechanical condition. Transmission is the weak spot. If it breaks, upgrade to an sti 6-speed. Sti trannys are stout. Subys are like Legos. Many parts are interchangeable.

National Guard guy here: Air Force USED to do this sort of measurement too. Guys my size, +6ft 200lbs, would struggle with this. Weight/PT standards are often key in position changes, promotions, deployments and in some cases discharges from the military. I understand his frustration. Air Force has moved to a simple waist measurement. Still not accurate, but it seems better IMO. Max waist for any male is 39in., which i think is fair, but it doesn't work 100% of the time.

If you look at from the front only, it looks like an LFA.

Differences are creature comforts and ride quality. Subies start about $1600 more. it's quick-ish.

I feel like $60k is a high estimate for a build like that. If someone does their research, probably $40k for something close to the 480.
