Whats the big difference? In the swap manual I have it states the stock 5.0 Alternator isn't enough to run the car, and go with the 3G. IF it's amperage output couldn't I just get an Aftermarket and be done with it? Or is there really something special about it?

People have been doing the swap since the early 90's. The chassis takes to the V8 very well.

I considered doing the swap. But its bloody expensive. But worth it.

Very disappoint.
