  1. mmm nice. A green Allroad is in my future. But a new one with a freakin' warranty. :dumb:
  2. Naw I am good. Happy to help. Interested to see what happens this year. I am sure Clay/all will figure out a good solution.
  3. Cars & Salads doesn't seem to flow as well. Some salad place is going in there and although they do serve coffee, I doubt they open early... “This is whole, clean, healthy food,” he told me. “This is driven by Millennials. This is what they want. They care about where their food is coming from, how it’s raised.” https://www.bizjournals.com/columbus/news/2017/10/30/what-is-replacing-johnny-rockets-and-cup-ojoe-at.html A fast casual brand is making good on its promise to grow. New York-based CoreLife Eatery opened its first Central Ohio restaurant 11 months ago at 8741 Sancus Blvd. across from Polaris Fashion Place. At that time, they company, which started in Syracuse in 2015, had seven restaurants. As of the end of October, it has grown to 21 open restaurants and at least a pair of other Central Ohio eateries in the plans among the more than 30 additional sites listed as coming soon. The company this year committed to the Wilson Place project, a Schiff Properties LLC development at the southeast corner of Lane Avenue and High Street near Ohio State University. The opening is targeted for August 2018. A unit also appears to be slated for the Lennox Town Center filling a pair of spaces previously occupied by Johnny Rockets and Cup O’ Joe coffee shop. I haven’t spoken with the company yet, but CoreLife lists the Lennox unit on its website, while Beachwood-based property owner DDR Corp. (NYSE:DDR) shows it on a map of the site as well. Construction on the space is underway with a March opening targeted. Co-founder Todd Mansfield, speaking to me last year, said he and his co-owners see fast-casual healthier food as an under-served market. CoreLife takes the fast-casual model of assembly-line ordering and applies it to a healthier menu. Its ingredients are free of trans fats, artificial colors, sweeteners and additives, it uses no genetically modified organisms, and its chicken and steak are free of antibiotics and hormones. There is no soda – just artisan lemonades, cold-pressed teas and coffee.
  4. curious as to what this means? because I am the only one paying for the site hosting that I know of.
  5. Chip, the owner is really talented... http://www.barthelmesbrand.com/small-business.html
  6. Thanks for the comments. Yea this HRE model isn't in their "active" listing but they can still make any model they have ever produced. Holding up great with the exception of 2 huge boulders that hit the hood. Will most likely rewrap and touch up the paint in the Spring.
  7. I vote for bronze as well. A little different but still classy.
  8. 21" HRE Wheels P90L Finished in Brushed Clear 35% tint all around + 90% on windsheild Winter setup going on soon . And in Spring will adjust the air suspension so it sits a bit lower.
  9. Yes sold my last house via Zillow. My general advice is have great photos and you will already be ahead of most listings. You don't need a photo of every room. Just post the best. Biggest mistake I see people make. If you have a tiny outdated bathroom just don't post a photo of it. People can make up their own mind when they visit in person. 6 great photos are better than 20 mediocre. The other issue you will have is zillow "zestimates." Pure cancer. People will try to use that as a negotiation. Surprise... the estimates for my street were super low so I had to fight against that. Now magically after I am gone they are over-priced since I put in the work and sold my place for a fair price.
  10. Front-end completely wrapped with new Suntek Ultra... The situation.... http://i.imgur.com/O6dVgml.jpg http://i.imgur.com/nryf73A.jpg B pillar disaster but after a special mix of herbs and spices... http://i.imgur.com/jtG3IKf.jpg Ahh much better http://i.imgur.com/HSDwADI.jpg Prep for full front-end wrap... http://i.imgur.com/myJj9qn.jpg Hood wrap going on... http://i.imgur.com/4yrfFIA.jpg http://i.imgur.com/TKOfUTp.jpg Trimming... http://i.imgur.com/ATfTwDa.jpg Final... http://i.imgur.com/8fodVpw.jpg Lower front valance had some road rash that kind of gets magnified when wrapped. Would probably skip doing that next time unless brand new. Up next is tint and finish correcting the rest of the car.
  11. damn I have been looking for a summer car with t-tops or something. but could I add another black car to the garage? veins are popping in my forehead just thinking about it.
  12. not when cowboy cops see you with out of state plates. they will and have make up any excuse as to why you were pulled over.
  13. I have been pulled over and my car searched (ransacked actually) in Texas for no reason. Just had out of state plates. That was a while ago but I bet they still used unmarked cars.
  14. ^ yea the more I drive it the more I don't even think the tune is necessary. Not like I am trying to race anyone.... yet.
  15. here is the APR page with all the info... https://www.goapr.com/products/ecu_upgrade_40tfsi_a8.html
  16. next week at C&C... http://i.imgur.com/B42CprU.gif
  17. Clay, hey we need to catch up sometime! Depreciation on these is around 50% after a few years! Around $50k for a decent example. The V6s will be less and probably the better deal. Ehhh most cars I void my warranty. edit: forgot to add... you REALLY need the window sticker when pricing these out. 90% of the ones listed online left stuff out or were incorrect. Yes. Me. Paul.. hey man another person I gotta catch up with! All is well just been busy. How goes it with you?
  18. Thanks for all the comments. Responses to some of the questions... I have been reading up on these for a while now and a few things to look out for... 1) Sway bar end links 2) Nav screen motor can go out and 3) the V8s can have vibration issues at certain RPMs due to the downpipe and some other exhaust bits. There is a TSB out for it and Audi is replacing them under warranty. Pretty reliable overall. Haven't even seen much from high mile owners. That said I personally wouldn't buy one unless it had some sort of warranty left. Thinking the air ride will probably require maintenance down the line but I will probably won't keep it that long to ever see real high miles. Definitely the car for a rally! Was envious of Doc's plush rides on previous trips. Comfort is more of a factor as I get older. Surprisingly small trunk for the size of car. I guarantee the new gen coming out will have that addressed. Yea the tune that puts it at 545hp/629tq should be sufficient although even stock might surprise you. I could see in a few years stepping up to a S8. Yes, most of the A8s you see are the 6-cylinder. Perfectly fine for just getting around. On the other end you can find the W12s floating around. :megusta:
  19. Plate is off for sure! New or used the wagon market was just so frustrating to me so I bailed. Hopefully will be back to wagon life in the future. I did try Jordan was very helpful but nothing was really coming up at auction. He did confirm the Toy Barn pricing wasn't too far off... and they did come down a bit so in the end it wasn't too bad. Dealing in the middle of winter probably helped. The real rape is the insurance on these things
  20. I am a wagon guy but it is really frustrating living the in US. Speccing out a new allroad put me at $50k the way I wanted it... but you can only get the 2 liter 4 cylinder. No thanks. So for the past year I was figuring out what I wanted for a daily. If I was going to go the sedan route I didn't want anything too normal so I landed at a used big body Oodi. Keeping an eye on the market wouldn't you know right around the corner at Toy Barn got one in pretty much the way I wanted... 2014 Audi A8L Extended wheelbase 4.0 V8 Twin Turbo Luxury package with Valcona diamond stitched leather Heated/cooled/massaging seats Double-paned sound glass Pano roof Warm weather package Cold weather package Rear seat comfort package w/ 4 way climate 20in wheels Still under warranty.. etc etc. I did not want the face lifted '15 because I think it looks way too much like an A6 although I suppose they all look alike regardless. http://i.imgur.com/VE35vhj.jpg http://i.imgur.com/WMzWpZA.jpg http://i.imgur.com/ftbW3HT.jpg http://i.imgur.com/i64tjdL.jpg http://i.imgur.com/vPwzC2a.jpg http://i.imgur.com/pLMDVyv.jpg http://i.imgur.com/XcQsIq3.jpg http://i.imgur.com/rhiGmrG.jpg http://i.imgur.com/6DLfol8.jpg This thing is HUGE. You can't really see the scale in pics but geez I think an A6 would have been completely fine :dumb: Plans: Well you would think with a sticker of over $100k the first owner would take a SMALL amount of care with the black paint but sadly they did not. Probably went through the dealer car wash every time it was in for an oil change. So it is going to need a full correction. Already did some testing and it is not going to be an easy job. Will clear bra the entire front end and some other bits. Tint and then possibly HRE wheels in the future. Possibly wrap the wood trim although I actually don't mind it. APR tune will get me 545hp and 629tq. Other than that not much else. Will swing by C&C sometime and get some decent pics.
  21. Are they on here still? Contact form on their site doesn't go anywhere. Never got a response.
