What is stopping those people from becoming a firefighter, policeman, or teacher now then? Oh yea typically those jobs suck and you have to attract people by offering... guess what? Decent salaries and benefits!

Most teachers I know are taking pay freezes or cuts, as well as health care cuts ALREADY. This whole argument of public employees getting raises no matter what is just not true, but keep believing what you want. The problem is this bill was so broad and dumb it was bound to fail. Now let Kasich try to pass smaller bills. I bet he targets teachers first, because EVERYone has had that "bad teacher" so it is easy to play the pity card on the general public.

Richard's (Das Borgen on CR) 740i came to me in great shape... for its age. The interior, engine bay, and body looked pretty decent. But 170k miles cannot hide for long. From 20 feet the paint looked OK but upon close inspection you could see the true story revealed. An almost insane amount of swirling and rock chips riddled the paint. I would guess kids had used this car to sled on in the winter months. GOAL: Clean up the interior and paint. Bring out the richness and glossiness of the black, but not break the bank, or my back. Exterior Before The hood and trunk had lots of deep pits and scratches Correction Begins - An atypical section. I will admit most areas weren't able to be corrected this well in our time frame. Before Interior Before - Pretty good shape. After shots, lets wrap it up....

We need to start a site with bad parenting stories.

The state of parenting at my wife's school: For parent-teacher conferences the parents got to schedule their time slot. 25 parents made appointments. (which is horrendous considering how many could have.) Guess how many actually showed up (keep in mind the parents scheduled this)? Less than 25% How sad is that.

Now THAT I hate... I know people getting jobs (such as guidance counselors) and not having a related degree, they just get a masters in guidance and on top of that they have never taught in a classroom. How can you be in a support position for teachers and students and NEVER have taught in a classroom. Some reform needs to be done for sure. But let's be honest, you need a 4 year degree to be a teacher, plus the state requires you to get your masters after a certain period.

Where can you become a teacher with only going to college for a year or 2?

My wife is a teacher with her masters and she does not get a 5% raise every year. Try 0% most years and slashes in healthcare, etc.

I have been hearing a lot of mixed reviews of BF3. Seems like it is a tank-fest and you have to be teamed up with people or you can't even voice chat. (??) Ultimately I had to pass on it because I just don't have the time like I used to! Overall it looks pretty sweet though.
