I still have my RX-7. I don't really recall your interest in my RX-7, sorry if I seemed not motivated to sell.

I'm posting my car for sale to purchase something more family oriented, as my family had another recent addition. I am NOT interested in trades, the chances of you having what I want is slim to none. Here are some details on the car. 2005 Nissan 350Z Track Package 86,000 miles Ultra Yellow paint color, which is fairly rare, I have never seen one driving around other than this one. New Sumitomo tires front and rear (245 front, 265 rear). I put them on less than 5k miles ago. These tires got really good reviews. When I purchased the car I looked around for a very long time to find one in great shape. Given that, the car is in very good shape. The interior of the car is in excellent condition. The seats have no tears or wear marks. There are no stains, or anything like that. The interior of the car looks fantastic, nearly new. The exterior of the car is also in very good shape. There are no dents or dings at all. You won't be disappointed at all with the car if you come out and take a look. Here are some links to high resolution pictures of the car. I took these pictures less than a week ago. $15000 1. http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6214/6228567455_cc26a1844f_b.jpg IMG_3913 by Kevin Sobkowiak, on Flickr 2. http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6049/6229080044_f1e9c013fa_b.jpg IMG_3908 by Kevin Sobkowiak, on Flickr 3. http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6108/6229076264_dc39602035_b.jpg IMG_3907 by Kevin Sobkowiak, on Flickr 4. http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6234/6229069496_5739ec93a1_b.jpg IMG_3904 by Kevin Sobkowiak, on Flickr 5. http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6114/6229024932_c1d95483a5_b.jpg IMG_3850 by Kevin Sobkowiak, on Flickr 6. http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6227/6228578789_33ae9d5c85_b.jpg IMG_3944 by Kevin Sobkowiak, on Flickr 7. http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6232/6228574657_4f5e21e2e4_b.jpg IMG_3940 by Kevin Sobkowiak, on Flickr 8. http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6156/6229064060_c45de3736b_b.jpg IMG_3898 by Kevin Sobkowiak, on Flickr 9. http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6093/6228540863_7a03642311_b.jpg IMG_3884 by Kevin Sobkowiak, on Flickr 10. http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6234/6228533115_ed502b89cd_b.jpg IMG_3882 by Kevin Sobkowiak, on Flickr 11. http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6166/6228523417_d08a7673ba_b.jpg IMG_3880 by Kevin Sobkowiak, on Flickr 12. http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6157/6229032104_733ff3907a_b.jpg IMG_3879 by Kevin Sobkowiak, on Flickr

I'd really like to, I've never been to Nelson and heard that its pretty fun. At this point I'm really stuck with just autox. I can hardly take a sunday "off" to autox, much less flush brake fluid, swap brake pads, change oil, and all the other prep stuff to track the car. Maybe once my kid gets a little older it will get easier.... I hope.
-
Lets get some reasonable offers.
-
Oh, I forgot to add. The car weighs 2950 w/ 3/4 tank of gas, and w/o me. The car was 49.5 % front, and 50.5% rear, with perfect 50/50 crosses. For the drag guys, I ran on my Hoosier road race tires (not optimum) and ran an 11.333 my second time to the strip in this car.
-
Price reduced to $30k. Can a mod please update my original post to reflect that, thanks!
-
The dynamat helped dramatically. It's still loud on the inside, but nowhere near the level of absurdity that it was before anything was done to kill the sound.
-
Bump for renewing my pro photobucket account so you can see the pics again.
-
Sorry Dover, I'm not interested. Thanks for the nice comments guys.
-
What year is your mustang? I have no clue about it. I'm likely not interested, I'm looking for something like either a cheap C5Z that I can mod to be a monster, or a C6Z and keep it retalively stock and tear people up at autox and track days.

The time has come to think about another project car, so I'm listing up my immaculate RX-7. I really love the car, but I enjoy building cars so I'm already thinking about what my next project will be. The car is extremely well done, no shortcuts whatsoever. I take pride in doing good work and making things right the first time, even if its a part nobody will ever see. Its a visceral experience driving the car, and probably best explained as violent when driven hard. I'm not pressed to sell all, so low offers will not be considered whatsoever. If it sells great, if not, then I'll continue to enjoy it. 1993 RX-7 Touring Model 35,500 miles on car. 20,000 miles on engine/trans 12,000 miles on rear end Interior Original tan leather seats. I ended up doing the same thing on my FD. Had to scrub a bit of stuff with a brush to get the heavier deposits. Came out awesome looking though. Well worht the time.
-
I'm not much into hondas, but its cool to see someone restoring one.
-
You know you want to do a tall deck 2.3 and a GT42R
-
Thats a cool project, and cool to see you got the kid involved!
-
I forgot to add, they also have a forum that I found really helpful. I think the site is http://www.meguiarsonline.com or something ot that effect.
-
That movie looks BA, thanks for hte link. I never watch TV to see previews anymore.
-
I've used dilluted simple green and a power washer before. Just be careful where you spray the power washer, and cover some key elements like the air filter, etc.
-
I typically get my stuff from a KOI refinishing center. They can order most stuff if they dont' have it in stock. And their prices are decent.
-
I like to use meguiars pro line, specifically M205 for the light stuff. M105 if I need a compound first, then followed by the M205 and wax.
