  1. I called the one on 161 and he said he has a hydraulic crimper..but he said he doesnt have much in the way of a/c crimps. He said most of that stuff is obsolete. The one on feddern is closed at the moment so i can try them monday.
  2. I just called them and they said they didn't.
  3. Thanks Gearhead let me know. I tried to call Hedrick and got the phone has been disconnected message.
  4. I figured its time to get my ac working in my car and im having the hardest time finding somebody who can crimp my lines. The lines and fittings are both Parker Futura and i ordered them off hot rod air over a year ago. Anybody know where i can get these fittings crimped?
  5. Very True. Like everyone says, just do what you are told. simple as that. When i went to army boot, it didnt matter if you were screwing up or not (as a plt, because everything is as a team), they would try and mess with your head and make things seem 100% worse than it really was, cause you are cut off from the outside and everything you know comes from your drill sgt's and rumors. Just remember u are only there for a short time and nothing is what it seems lol. Oh, and go to church on sunday so you dont have to stay and clean all day.
  6. Hey not everyone that owns a camaro has a mullet! I like to be in the minority.
  7. I had Central Ohio do my short block and rebuild my heads. They also had a guy port them for me. They did a good job. Were competitivley priced also.
  8. What about me? http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn71/bcdawg57/sig2.jpg http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn71/bcdawg57/engine1.jpg If you cant integrate the 2 the car one will be just fine! Thanks!
  9. Mail order tune is where you send a tuner that is at a complete separate location from your car, a list of modifications done to your setup, and your computer, and he loads a tune on to the computer for what he thinks would be a good tune for that setup. Downfall is, he is not there infront of your car and he does not have a dyno. Most of the time they can get it close enough to run fairly well. You cannot beat a dyno tune though where a tuner can make changes and use his equipment to judge what his adjustments did performance wise for the car.
  10. Cool. Well that leak just got a whole lot worse and now it's very noticeable. Going to have to locate and fix that. My screw for my grounds in the firewall is stripped out, so I'll either re tap it or find some other solution and see if that helps me out.
  11. It looks like maybe it hadn't leveled off yet. Pretty sweet.
  12. Yeah it definatley feels good to get a good tune. He did say one of my brand new o2s was reading lean at idle, and I'm pretty sure I hear an exhaust leak coming from that side before the sensor. That could cause that sensor to read that way right? And that super snake dyno was awsome. I can't believe how that blower drowned our the exhaust like that.
  13. Got my car dyno tuned today at IPS Motorsports. The car previously had a mail order tune from Trifecta on it. The first pull the car produced about 307whp. The tuner said the car was running lean and getting some knocking in the upper rpm's. One of my o2's is reading on the lean side at idle, and im getting low voltage to my pcm. About 11.5 volts he said. Maybe a bad ground i'll have to look at it. Anyway, he did his thing and i ended up with 335whp and 340wtq. Can't wait to get it back to the track! I got a pic of the graph for you guys. http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn71/bcdawg57/0422092043.jpg The car has the hotcam, ported heads and supporting mods.
  14. Thanks for all the compliments, makes all the work i put in to my car to keep it from turning into a rust bucket like most other thirdgens pay off. Thats a nice TA you got there, the kit looks good on it. As i recall thats the kit most people use over on thirdgen.org. Did you change anything else besides the springs? I started out on the right foot and when i saw a good looking thirdgen i jumped on it cause you do not see any of them around. Now its just trying to prevent the rust untill i can afford to get it repainted. When you get back just hit me up and i will be glad to show you the car in person. Of course, it may dissapoint you. Interrior needs some TLC.
  15. lol that was right after i put the new wheels on, i had to see how those 275's hooked up;) Those springs look like a good deal. Is it just as simple as a spring swap or is ther more to it? any mods needed to correct suspension geometry or anything like that?
