  1. Wipe some oil on his windshield.

Or... go to the Home Depot and get some "Caution" tape, tie it to the axle, hide the roll on the suspension, and when he hits a bump...

  2. Mannnn I had an '04 Audi that I loved. The fuel pump went out at 49,898 miles and the warranty was up at 50k. LUCKY.

I traded it in. A year and a half later I got a recall for the fuel pump, lol.

Anyhow it sounds like you have quite the combination of things going on. Start with the codes and lets get to work! O2 sensors are generally not hard to remove, however... depending on how old the car is they could be IN there...

ABS light... oil pressure light... Sounds like you need the 50 cent upgrade.

  4. Question for you tire guys... how hard is it to take studs out of a tire? I'm selling a set here in Cali and a potential buyer backed out because "they wanted $25/tire to take the studs out."

So I know studded tires aren't at all common in Ohio, but anyone know how hard it would be to just take them out DYI?

They would need to come out of this tire:

  5. I told her i was gonna bust your balls for taking off with a shelby and leaving her behind with that sentra...lol

thanks for the business Gabe... glad I could save you some monies.

Leave her with the Shelby... RIGHT so instead of her Sentra she pulls up in the GT500. Is this before or after she would have received her death sentence? lol.

I knew you were out there. Weren't you partially moving out to Cali for her? WTF is she still doing in C'bus? :)

Miss ya, man. Best of luck!!!

We're moving out here because she's getting in "mommy mode," and we'll be closer to family. I decided to jump the gun out here so I can get the CHP application process going. She has to stay in Columbus until June, when her ballet contract ends. It's one of those "short term sacrifice, long term gain" deals. ;)

So I've passed the written test, the physical abilities test, my panel interview, and some other miscellaneous stuff... just waiting to go into background investigations.

  6. ^^

Yup and they issued a press release that didn't say a whole lot! Wtf? Well, nm I guess. I'm never been that in tune with with SAI, but when the president turns up missing and there's all this jargon about what's going on at SAI... it makes you wonder.

And granted, no, not everyone is going to care.

  7. There has been a lot of steam lately concerning Amy Boylan, who is the President of SAI. Word is she was "fired" or let go, etc. Until now, SAI has been saying she's been on "vacation."

So... guess we'll see what's going on tomorrow! Just general news, not that it matters. :)

  8. When did you move, Gabe? :) Derek make business calls to The Sac?

Hey Clay! I moved out here in December. I have to call upon select people because the wife's car is falling apart (she's still in Columbus until June).

    Miss the cars and coffee!
