  1. Ive got 3 GOOD mustang GT Pony rims (5spoke sparkle silver) THESE ARE NOT BULLITS The rims alone weigh 18lbs each. They all 3 have 245/45/17 tires on them with one in decent shape (50% tread) they are Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires $$$$$ I will take 80 bucks for all of it or make me a deal otherwise im scrapping the rustang wheels.   2. I donno If im still a total fcking newb but welcome Matt! Im glad they finally accepted you. Glad you got some pics up, that thing is really clean for sure. Theres several experienced VW/ Stanced Import/ Euro guys on here that know more than you could imagine. Welcome to the forum and Im glad you made it. Good guy right here. He's got alot to learn before that things keepin up with me though ;-)
  3. Ouch man I was just trying to fend off the Regal haters. I didnt mean to tick you off..yikes. on a side note..what are the consequences an infraction and am I REALLY worthy of deserving this? or do you just not like me because of what I said(Im sorry). Also, just to clear things up, I drove several jeeps of this body style, one being a 1999 Sport and the other a 1993 cherokee. I have absolutely nothing against them. They are what they are. I was just assuming that since this is a racing website the OP might want something with some power and is responsive to small mods/Bolt-ons. I am not here to bash jeeps, or the Daimler Chrysler group. my Family owned all dodge for the 1st half of my life and for all I care, the 4.L straight six was a GM spawn originally. Just to throw it out there...not trying to ruffle anybodys feathers. Sig fixing in Progress...sorry.

  7. wow so much hate towards the Regal. So, To clear some things up... -S/C is an EATON M90, not commonly known for needing rebuilt. good lube system and snout. occasionally a coupler might go out. not expensive fix. -I may be a moron for this but last year I drove from columbus to mansfield every weekend for school and even through blizzards at 70mph I couldnt get it to wiggle. these cars PLOW. -I have maybe invested 900 bucks in mods and now currently have a potential 13s car and I get 23mpg average, 0-60 in 5s range EASY. sturdy car, comfy, sleek, designing is much better on the 1997+ than most cars of its class. -I am also not a grandma driving a boat. If you see my headlights you WILL hear my blower. plenty of middleaged, college aged people are rolling in Regals. RegalGS.org has thousands of members in that age group and are VERY helpful on Anything. -Torque-280 Hp-240, 3600lb car and plenty of room (Trunk space 16.9Q ft i Believe, I have fit full grown deer in the back of mine.
  8. sucks indeed. i think i changed the oil within 200 miles of the LIM but who knows too late now haha i have a 95k whole long block L67 nestled in there now without any issues thus far. PERIOD. so im happy. and with 0*kr and 3.4 with all supporting mods, she sure flys.
  9. it was pig rich & I was smelling gas , if you dump a bunch of fuel past the rings & gas wash the engine thinning the oil and run it hard it could happen at any mileage if im not mistaken...the oil light seals the deal in my mind , low oil psi + high rpms=spun bearings it could have to do with the LIM job that was done a month prior to all of this..maybe i didnt change the oil soon enough..who knows..
  10. i guess i sorta came up with it but wouldnt it make sense that if i was dumping fuel due to the bad/failing 02 sensor, mixed with low oil pressure and high RPMs at wot that gasoline would slip through the piston rings/combustion chamber and get into my valvetrain/pushrods thinning out the oils viscosity? im not a hardcore 3800 guy as I have never fully disected one, but Right before my bearing spun I noticed my Oil light came on or flashed for a moment. could you explain what may have happened any better for a semi-newb? idk how off i might be.. I know the usual reason for a spun bearing is coolant being pushed in by cylinders or clogging/starving lubrication system but for some reason i believe it to be due to how rich i was running..
  11. yep, was messin around with Kizzzle in his 'lude after header,tune and 3.5 pulley i think and during the header install i never got an O2 harness extension so i was without my front 02 sensor...well hight speeds, hight RPMs and an unfamiliar tune caused my motor to spin a rod bearing. we think its from running rich and oil mixing with extra fuel causing the bearing to shear in half im assuming..if that makes sense. maybe im explaining it incorrectly..
  12. lol i had no Idea that Intense had such a bad rep..They did a HELL of a lot of work for me when I spun a rod bearing. pulley installs are free, tunes seem to be much improved and priced well. I have no dirt on Intense and will gladly continue to utilize them in further mods. I was told not to run my car hard after the tune/bad 02 sensor fiasco that toasted my motor, and I sure learned my lesson. (do not race H22As on the freeway with a bad 02 sensor causing a pig-rich condition at above stock RPMs, or you will flood your motor and spin a bearing.) lesson learned. Everything else, including the engine replacement, due to their know-how and skill, saved me thousands and put me back on the streets within a few days. 500 bucks to swap a motor in less than 9hrs? hell yes. (take note, I have absolutely NO idea what went down to cause this rawkus) so take it for what its worth.
  13. IMO,Its gotta hang with the usual semi-stock LT1/LSx /99-04GT crowd to be a sleeper. if it doesnt pull at least-low 14s it isnt time to sleep, its time to waste more $ and get to wrenchin. I dont even know what you can do to these cars bolt-on wise to make em go that fast..did somebody mention a blower??

(im sure you were just dying to know that)

Thanks for all the pointers sir, I like the Olympus but I really like my buddies D80..you sure know your stuff. as soon as I graduated highschool all my AP ART knowledge went out the window. haha As for the other comments, as soon as I can find a new pair of 255/40/R17s to put of front I will take debadging(AGAINN) into consideration...haha as for now im ridin on black 16"S up front and 17" GT wheels in the back..looks like ass regardless. but its better than drivin on bald ass Hankooks with steel belts exposed due to misalignment..EFF

Tis jeffery. not quite where i live though, that wouldve been my Ex gf's house ur thinkin of...think Capital University area and you'll find it..haha As far as the track goes/dyno. no numbers yet. kizzzle and I were wanting to dial our cars in b4 its too late. The regal will hang with stockish LT1s and mustang GTs from low rolls but LS1s and GOATs pull on her after a few lol. I'd say she could go mid 13s with aperfect launch and better tires. (she loves to burn rubber, even without trying)

  25. Hah My mom drives a 2002 Accord Special Edition with the F23 Vtec motor.... shit is WEAK compared to any car and especially my GS...I hate when I hafta drive that POS. Going from a high 16 second 4-banger to a 260hp+ torquey ass V6 thats nearly capable of high 13s (with a few mods*) is like going from a bigwheel to a 12-speed huffy... I think you Ought to test drive one on a nice cool dry day...I think you will be pleasantly suprised. Only downfall IMO is FWD and Torque Steer..(and they are only in Automatic unless your trying to impress your highschool friends haha jk)
