Well than you all should join. Lefora is a free forum and hosting utility. I had to pay all of nothing to get it built so I won't complain. If it comes down to it, I have a copy of Vbulletin and a Server here at home I can run, all I would need is to buy a domain, which isn't that expensive. I hope to see some new faces! I can't advocate systems and network/computer hacking because it's unethical and criminal and I can be held liable. I don't doubt you can burte that forum but why would you want to?

Now I don't mean security and networks but repurposing and reenginggering hardware and software for a different purpose. To give you an example, I am taking a drill press and, from scratch, building a 3 axis CNC router our of it. Possibly a smaller version for a dremmel and make an etching machine from it. One member hacks PS2's and uses those hacks to play Japanese PS2 games on his US PS2. It's a small community and it's just been started but I have permission to post this so I send a message to all the nerds out here to support your local collective. The information we posses can help another in the quest to hack a CRT to make an ossilloscope or what have you. So to the nerds and engineers on here, if you're a nerd be it, do it, love it. Hack Ohio!

It was a dirty broke ass Celica. The kid I bought it from for $700 I sold it back to for almost 2 grand. All I have now is the Ranger.

So far the only mods I have done to it are from my GT. There are the powerslot brakes, Hawk HPS pads, JDM side markers, HID's, some LED's here and there, and Red JDM open end lugs. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v417/firemannick/Picture007.jpg

So base story, it's a 2000 Toyota GTS 6speed. I bought it for $700 a spare engine and trans and some mods from my GT. The original owner took out the whole interior and sanded it down with 80 grit paper and painted it black. The headliner was red and the seats were TRD knock offs. The seats were the worst, the kid took the trd seats which are narrower than stock. Instead of building brackets and doing it right the kid took the stock seat brackets and sandwiched them in between a sheet of plywood. Farley and redneckracer will attest the the piss poor condition the interior was in. Outside the kid put some shitty fiberglass fenders on and painted the spray can black. Also had some crappy headlight overlays. There was a dent in the door and rear quarter from someone backing into him I suppose. The owner took bondo and didn't even sand it down and painted it spray can black. Did I mention the car is a midnight blue? Carbon blue to be exact. After a complete interior swap from my red GT and spending a few hours fixing a bunch of electrical BS...I come to the start of my project.
