  1. Thanks for all the tips Tim, I'm going to take another shot of the car tonight and have a second try at making one.

    New car!

Nice purchase! The Nardi steering wheels look very cool.
  3. The white one would look great if you just painted the inside of the tail lights over the chrome with black.
  4. Thanks for the tips, I really appreciate them. I've been using my Rebel T3 and generally save a raw and jpg version of each shot. I think I'm gonna have to buck up and get PS just because so many people use it and learning will probably be easier. Jones, I like to be the guy who tackles something he shouldn't and then calls a professional half way into it when everything is screwed, hahaha, really I just want to learn because I think it will help me have more fun with my camera.
  5. Dang, I forgot there were so many on here, lolz. How about any senior member can have them for $30 shipped. I've got too many car parts in my house.
  6. I'll let these go for $30 shipped if your GTO is Cyclone Gray Metallic.
  7. After 10 years of begging other people to make a sig for me I made my first attempt at my own. Here is what I came up with. http://www.newcelica.org/photopost/data/500/signature.jpeg I know the picture isn't the best one to use, but this is mainly a learning experience for me. I'm pretty comfortable cutting the area I want to use and making a border/adding text, but there are still some questions I haven't figured out. 1. How do I make the car stand out or replace the background entirely? I'm using pixlr. and I tried their blur and smudge function but there's got to be a better way. 2. Can I take any pic I want as the background and then add in the car as a layer? 3. Is there any way to add HDR effects to the shot of the car I would be using? I've been playing on pixlr and watching tutorials on youtube for the past couple of hours and as I type this sentence I'm thinking I should have come up with a better result, lol. Any help is always appreciated. :lolguy:
  8. If I was getting a new daily I would highly consider a TDI VW. A TDI Jetta wagon would be awesome imo.
  9. This is what I do when I get the "I ran out of gas" story and I feel like giving them something. Just make sure to complete the entire purchase before you leave. :lolguy:
  10. like take a picture of the white paper with different manual white balance settings until I get a shot where the paper comes out white?
  11. Dang it, it was on manual. I just put it back on auto.
  12. I didn't edit the pics at all, just re-sized with irfanview. I've tried a couple of the editors because it'd be cool to be able to improve pictures post-production, but I have no idea even where to start with them.
  13. These are some shots I took yesterday evening when I had coffee with some guys from the neighborhood. I know I was shooting in a shadow, but can anyone give me advise on the blueish tint on the pics? Also, I was experimenting with new angles/shots and I think that aspect turned out good. http://www.newcelica.org/photopost/data/500/IMG_07541.jpg http://www.newcelica.org/photopost/data/500/IMG_0758.jpg http://www.newcelica.org/photopost/data/500/IMG_07563.jpg http://www.newcelica.org/photopost/data/500/IMG_07612.jpg http://www.newcelica.org/photopost/data/500/IMG_0759.jpg http://www.newcelica.org/photopost/data/500/IMG_07621.jpg http://www.newcelica.org/photopost/data/500/IMG_0768.jpg http://www.newcelica.org/photopost/data/500/IMG_07641.jpg http://www.newcelica.org/photopost/data/500/IMG_07702.jpg http://www.newcelica.org/photopost/data/500/IMG_07692.jpg
  14. Most IS owners are going to want to know what this "track" thing you speak of is, and when you start talking about those metal things with rubber on them that turn so the car can go they are just going to get confused looks on their faces and stare at you.
  15. My neighbor has one and I'm torn on it. I like the classy appearance and the interior, but it lacks sportiness.
  16. I've got an extra set of brand new Russell stainless braided brake lines that fit the rear of any 2004-2006 GTO. I purchased these to install with my brake upgrade and found that the previous owner already installed the same set in the rear so these are now extra. The price for these brand new lines is $60 shipped. PM me if interested. :masturboy:
  17. LMR sucks, but the car is cool.
  18. I'm super excited about seeing a M Performance 3-series sedan.
  19. I like Chase if you are keeping larger balances, if not I would suggest a local bank or credit union.
  20. You should have warned me before I messed up my pants. Very very noice!
