  1. All, I'm trying to get my exhaust built for the upcoming Auto-X season. I have a custom 2 to 1 3" Burns Y-Pipe merge, 3" 100 Cell Cat, and a 3" Borla XR-1 Muffler I need welded together. It's a pretty simple fabrication, it would dump right before the rear axle. Prefer Mandrel Bend, SS. Since I'm up in Cleveland I'd need to travel down on a weekend and get the work down, somehow. Thoughts? Also, if you know anyone in Cleveland willing to do the work I'd take that recommendation as well.
  2. I have a code for downloading Rainbow Six Siege or Assassin's Creed Syndicate. Received it with a graphics card purchase, don't need it. $50 OBO. You'll get the code ASAP once payment is sent.
  3. I never said the car is fast. It's slow, makes loud noises. Only makes 229 @ 207 ft-lbs at the wheel
  4. If it's swapped you'll instantly be in SM, street mod. Unless you want to throw paper at the car, it won't be very competitive.
  5. Still learning the car, I think I found some additional tweaking out at Lincoln that I can apply here. I bought the 128 as a lemon law car actually, so cost helped a ton. The 135 is classed into STU, which is fairly difficult to compete in because you can't fit big enough tires to become competitive. Plus I wanted to avoid issues of N54/55 engines. Mine has been bulletproof
  6. Thanks! Bad wording, I drive it.
  7. I figured I'd share my 128i that I built for SCCA Solo STX Class since the season is over for me. Some of you know the car, but I like showing it off.. Car recently won the ProFinale and Overall Championship for ProSolo in Lincoln, NE as well as 5th/58 in the STX field during Nationals. Wish I could place better at Nationals but there is next year: Season Results: 1st Wilmington Spring ProSolo - Super Challenge Winner 4th Toledo ProSolo 3rd Wilmington Summer ProSolo 1st Toledo Match Tour 2nd Wilmington Champ Tour 1st ProSolo Finale - Overall ProSolo Champion for STX 5th Nationals http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g135/1nFeCt1oN/11999771_10205597206277711_6113555892173754229_o_zpshewzpjwm.jpg Mod List TCKline Dual Adjustable Coilovers w/TCK Caster/Camber Plates Kosei K8R 17×9 with 255/40 RE-71Rs Front/Rear Swaybar Recaro SPGs (Ebay Reps) with VAC Mounting Hardware Subframe + Diff Bushings Diffsonline Custom Differential BMW Performance SSK Active Autowerke Headers + Tune Muffler Delete Hawk Brake Pads 17lb Battery Fender Roll Next year: Softer front bar New Brake Pads Custom Exhaust Intake Pics from a couple events: http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g135/1nFeCt1oN/kherbst-12_zpsfw7t2r91.jpg http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g135/1nFeCt1oN/kherbst-9_zpszssnhkx3.jpg http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g135/1nFeCt1oN/kherbst-7_zps9vlqrlwt.jpg http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g135/1nFeCt1oN/kherbst-6_zpsj4zonalc.jpg http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g135/1nFeCt1oN/kherbst-4_zpsgwrmluju.jpg http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g135/1nFeCt1oN/kherbst-1_zpsbyln3qfb.jpg Videos:
  8. RS3v2s need to be sprayed on a 40 second autocross course. The constant heat cycling they experience from heating up, cooling to ambient is not good for the tire. On a RS3v2 you'll see 100 runs on the tire before they heat cycle out and fall on their face. You'll know it too. My RE-71Rs have been pryometer temps of 140*F, and only get faster. Haven't even sprayed yet in 85F conditions and the tire is sticky as can be. Anyways, my RE-71Rs with 60 runs on them. Need to flip after this weekend. http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/06/03/6aa677e2806c87a0d583ea5ac4db0996.jpg http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/06/03/dfc525e759356b63c1b1e3d01c4f81d6.jpg
  9. Hankook was the tire last year. Now this year they are a second behind the top tire, seriously. I've seen 1.41 G peak max in turns and 1.2 Gs constant loading throughout the turn. Bridgestone nailed the tire this year. If you aren't running the tire you're not going to be at the top of your game. Easy as that.
  10. With cheaper 1-4 scopes that aren't $1k+, isn't there possibilities that extreme fisheyes could occur and poor eye relief?
  11. I run a Leopold Firedot SPR 1.5-4 on my BCM AR. http://www.leupold.com/hunting-shooting/scopes/mark-ar-riflescopes/mark-ar-mod-1-1-5-4x20mm/ Glass is very clear. Not a true 1-4 but close enough I could get within my budget. Eye relief is surprising generous. The VX-R Patrol is a 1.25-4 and about 1 step up from the Mark AR series
  12. Currently in Cleveland http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/15/02/01/608cef62555fd808248994631e071d71.jpg
  13. Lol columbus. Suppose to be 12" by end of tomorrow.
  14. Ever consider some type of Project Management? You see a ton of field time out of the office, hands on type of work. I'm a very new engineer in the career field (graduated in May '13). ME by degree but I work in the energy field for commercial HVAC. I personally love it, but it's a lot of desk time currently, starting to shape my career to more field and design. Becoming an engineer without a degree is very doable. Just gotta work your day up. My dad's a living example. Never went to college, self taught.
