Not wanting to create my own thread - Is there no VP109 or MS109 (should be r+m/2 at 104Octane) locally near Columbus either in the drum or at the pump? I usually get race gas a few days prior to running the strip to let the car adapt so I'd rather not just pick up the day of the track. Any suggestions?

You should call the airline directly after finding the flight you want to take and as for a Bereavement Fare - anytime a primary family member passes away, you should qualify for a significantly reduced fare. You usually have to provide the name of the deceased, your relationship to them, and the contact info for the funeral home. It may come out to be the cheapest option (not always but most likely)

If you think the MPG controls will usher in another 'Era of the Muscle Cars' I would be highly skeptical. Yes we'll have more efficient sports cars but I would wager they wont be hi-revving naturally aspirated cars - more like hybrid electrical/gas engines, turbo charged-small cylinder engines or a stronger move to diesels. Not what I envision when I think muscle or sports car.

I would have to race back from NY to Ohio at breakneck speed to make the event I'll be outa town that weekend but would love to attend, Maybe next time.

Man if this was the week before or week after I would love to be there as my first event. Have to attend nephew's graduation that weekend unfortunately. I'll be on the lookout for the next event.

I should be in town first week of June and will look for some Cars&Coffee meets then to introduce myself. Too bad the 3series will be transported over there - Stuck with the Acura SUV to make the trek. I'll just whisper 'vroom-vroom' to pretend I'm going fast

I'm headed from the PacificNorthwest out to central Ohio in 2 weeks and started to look around to see what the car enthusiast scene was about and found this site. Who the hell am I? The car is a 2008 BMW 335xi sedan in Black (the AWD version). I wanted something I could use as my DD, race on the weekends, and take my old lady out for a hot date once in a while and not change a dam thing on the car. What's in your car? Stock the car is a TT 3.0L Flat 6 pushing 300hp/tq at the crank. The car has the following performance mods: JuiceBox3 ECU Piggyback boost controller pushing 16.5psi on race maps AR Design Catless Downpipes BMS Dual Cone Intakes Helix FMIC (shortly to be installed) My last dyno I hit SAE 386awhp and 377awtq. I'm shooting for 400+ awhp/tq once I get the next mod on, I can almost feel it!! But really now, do you race? I've done most my drag events at Pacific Raceways here in Seattle and Bremerton Raceway as well. Fastest time so far is 12.51s @ 111mph but I'm headed for the low twelves once the FMIC gets bolted on this week. 60fts average at 1.8s.
