  1. That car is impressive and as long as I still control the driving of the car then I am happy.
  2. Haha, I was working at a school when they did a Tornado Drill because of the storm...I stayed on the 2nd floor working on a few technical issues. By the time the tornado warning was issued most of the storm had already blown by the west side.
  3. In his own mind suicide was a rational thought. Maybe he realized that he does not want to be a part of the world he was living in.
  4. I usually see ballasts fail before bulbs. Bad ballasts can cause a bulb not to ignite properly as well. Out of the approx 20 hid kits I have sold I have yet to see a bulb fail, but I have seen ballasts fail. Relay Harness's and Digital Ballasts are the best way to go about with an HID kit in my opinion. Safer too.
  5. What version of Windows Server are you running?
  6. Yea, we are really good at killing people.
  7. The truth is sad. U.S. Gangs - trained by the United States Armed Forces Taliban Forces - trained by the United States to help fight the Russians Fact. The United States is the worlds largest Arms dealer. In 2009 sold more than 166.278 Billion in weapons. 40% of the worlds total weapon sales. http://www.fas.org/sgp/crs/weapons/R41403.pdf Basically. I say, show me the money, and you get what you want. Everything has a price, even the lives of US Citizens.

    New logical rant

Track @ Cooper = Win for everyone.
  9. LOL! This right here is good stuff.
  10. I did see that right after the 2.2 update, all of my apps had another update lol....that's prolly what happened.
  11. Upgrade it to 2.2 then do the root that I linked you to. I like 2.2 better than 2.1 Google Maps are less buggy and seems a little faster. Oh, yea. Extended Battery is a must. Part number is BH6X for the extended battery.
  12. I'd go with the first one hahaha. jk
  13. Wasn't the Toyota Hilux one of those vehicles they tested and tried to destroy on top gear. It survived being on top of a building while it was demolished, being set on fire, being left out in the sea to be flooded, to be ran into everything, to have a camper dropped on it. Here is the top gear video. http://www.topgear.com/uk/tv-show/series-3/episode-5 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OVkedyQZfwQ I know during that season they revisit it a few times just because they were so amazed at how well the truck can survive anything.
  14. Also, just FYI, I had rooted my Droid X 2.1 when I got it, but upgraded last week to the 2.2 patch. I lost my root, but another one touch root app just came out if you want it, but I don't think you will really need it unless you want to unlock the wifi tethering. One touch root for Droid X 2.2 is here http://sil3ntki11.tumblr.com/page/2

  16. Just curious at what is going on seeing that many icons for connections is not good. I am pretty sure you do not have that man IEEE 1394 ports on your computer. Can you check something for me. Go to start. Select Run. In that popup box can you type in devmgmt.msc . Click on the arrow (>) next to "Network adapters" and post a screenshot. You may either have a bad piece of hardware, a driver gone wild, or a virus.
  17. If you don't use them don't worry about them. They are basically ways of unlocking and running custom OS builds on phones. Most common people don't mess with this stuff because you can "brick" your phone. Meaning cause it to never start if done improperly. But IMO I would get a Droid X. It is simple to Root them which will allow free wifi tethering, and other benefits, and the app market if quickly growing and you can get an app to do just about anything for free. When looking for Android Based phones though do not compare their apps, compare their features. What is the processor speed? The higher the number the faster. How much storage is built in? The higher the number the more stuff you can fit on it. How good is the camera? The more MP the more detailed the images. Droid X has an 8MP built in camera. Does it have camera's on both sides of the phone? New applications are out there to allow you to have a video chat with someone using your phone. If you are going or planning to use such a feature look for it in your next phone. Will it have accessories that you would want to use? The Droid X has a dashmount kit specifically designed for it. It will automatically switch to the "Car Dock" application on the Droid which makes it nice for using it as a GPS Navigation. Looking at the hardware features of each phone and comparing them is the best way to compare Android Based phones. The Droid X has the large screen, the Droid 2 has the slide out keyboard, stuff like that. Also, Android OS is Linux based, any geek knows Linux is more stable than MAC or Windows. That Crackberry you have that probably froze all the time will be a thing of the past. I have yet to freeze my Droid X. My Windows Mobile phones before my Droid froze all the time. With the iPhone 4 you get good performance, but I am not an Apple supporter, nor do I agree with the companies values and goals. I like my stuff open, free, and hackable.
  18. I have a Droid X and I love it. It is rooted as well. The only thing is with the Droid X is you cannot use custom bootloaders for those of you who like to look for cooked roms for your phones. But then again, I have yet to see a cooked ROM that has impressed me as much as a Rooted Droid X. Also, the Droid X has a Car Mount specifically designed for it which allows it to act as a "Driving Cam" as well as 8MP camera, and also has an HDMI output, and features a FM radio. Its fast, its fun, its slim, it holds a pretty good charge.
  19. Yea, your bulbs are dual beam 9003 (H4) meaning your high/low is the same bulb. So the old kit i have would work. I'd sell it for 60 since its out of warranty, I will test them tomorrow since I haven't used them in a while, that kit is about a year and a half old.
  20. These are H1 bulbs which are different than 9003 (H4). They actually fit differently into the headlamp. I also believe you're 9003 is a dual beam if I am not mistaken. Like your high and lows are a single bulb right? I have one of those that I had used before I bought projectors and used the H1's but the warranty is up on the 9003 (H4) 8000K that I have. I didn't even think about listing them. Basic HID Kits are this Bulbs - Wires - Ballasts - Wires - Stock Light Connectors HID Kits with Battery Relay Harness are Bulbs - Wires - Ballasts - Wires - Battery & Stock Light Connectors
  21. Yes, I work over on the West Side of Columbus all day, and live up by Dublin/Marysville.
  22. I love his comment: "One day the threat of car crashes could be virtually eliminated, if only we could get computers that didn't crash."
  23. I have 3 sets of used HID kits for sale, since I no longer need them. Warranty is still valid on them as well. H1 35W 6000K 30$ H1 35W 8000K 30$ H1 55W Purple 45$ I also will include an H1 Wire-harness with those as well so you can wire them directly to the battery to reduce the stress on your stock headlight power wires.
  24. The day I people can't control technology will be the day I start destroying it. Right now they are working on cars that have safety mechanisms that help prevent accidents where people are unaware of the surrounding of the vehicle just like in many cars they have backup cameras, backup sensors that tell you how close you are to something. ABS was also a technological change which seems to have a benefit. Airbag technology has improved as well over the years, along with numerous other positive technological advances. Cars offering bluetooth connectivity and voice command radio is also another way to help vehicle safety. About the issues with people texting...phone technology has also increased. On android phones they have a speech to text technology that is quite impressive and even those with lisps can use it fairly accurately. I used to text while I drove sometimes, also used to hold the phone when people called. For the past 2 years I have been using bluetooth in the car and love it, I still can keep both hands on the wheel. But still conversing on the phone is a distraction in itself. I have seen people get frustrated on the phone and take their hands of the wheel making gestures, just like they were talking to the person in front of them, at that point the person IMO is no longer considered as driving as they aren't keeping their mind at the task at hand...which should be driving. I hate talking on the phone when driving, cause well, I don't like talking on the phone when driving, I don't want to be the one causing the accident just as much as I don't want to be in an accident period. It is also why I speed out of groups of cars without regard to speed limits. I hate being surrounded by other drivers as I do not trust Ohio Drivers or any other driver for that matter.
  25. And out in the country people leave their doors unlocked but have lots of guns....haha
