I'm not saying it was a bad ride, it was definitely an intense ride in the STI. I'm giving props to the car's mad handling, which compared to my lancer is far more tuned and responsive. If you would've read my post before getting your panties in a bunch you would see I was agreeing with another poster that said just buy an EVO and forget the subarus. And I said I think the EVO rides nicer than the STI... in my opinion. The only gripe you can have with the EVO possibly not being more comfortable of a drive than the STI, is the recaro seats. They're harder than the more luxurious seats of the STI, I think it handles better than the STI all while providing a good ride. The EVO is a better car, period. Subaru's are for die hards.

You really are a cranky old man. I'm sorry to hurt your ego, but I don't need your vindication. Nor do I appreciate you patronizing me. Like I just said, I don't have the GT-R anymore, me and my father just picked up a 275, if you would like to see it, I have absolutely no problem bringing it to a cars/ coffee in the spring. I have a couple of posts here trying to figure out where people hung out with their cars at night so I could bring the GT-R around and I got nothing. Fijimazda was going to borrow it for a weekend and write an article about it, but we sold it that weekend for the ferrari. He will most likely get to drive it when I get it in the spring for an article... because he hasn't been a total douche bag like you have. And I never claimed to have an evo first off and second off I wasnt talking about an VIII or an IX, I was talking about the EVOX interior vs the 09 STI interior. It is my personal opinion that I like the mitsubishi's more than the STI's. I have driven three different WRX's, one being an 08 STI. I didn't like the way the car rode, period. That was the point of my post, sorry it forced a grain of sand in your vagine. And calling me 13 is borderline hilarious. I have a college education, and a very good one at that, along with a very reputable job. You might want to see my N/A Lancer before I dump it and you claim I didn't own it either. Maybe you can scope out the new audi I get, I'm sure it rides better than an STI too.

He asked for photos. There they are. The lancer i'm more than willing to drive over in front of your eyes any time. The ferrari id be more than happy to come spring. And the GT-R is gone, but I'm sure I can dig up more photos, of the car, myself in the car, my friends in the car etc etc etc. I can even provide expert testimony from friends that have ridden/ driven the car themselves. But I'm not going to because I don't know any of you from a hole in the wall either, I came to one get together at polaris, someone mentioned there was a forum. I like cars, so I joined. I wear a 32B.

I can't remember, I only caught like 25 minutes of it, but they showed the red citroen (didn't have a lot of sponsor stickeres on it) was off the road more than he was on.

And to the dickhead that said I don't own the GT-R, an 09 lancer, or the 275 Ferrari. Blow me. http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j185/matty2431/5130_673130399330_20913316_39035118.jpg http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j185/matty2431/GT-RFront.jpg http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j185/matty2431/Lancerold.jpg do you need more?

The GT-R is gone now. It was me and my dad's collectively. I had it for more time than he did actually. We have a yellow Ferrari 275 now, which I will probably never see in my driveway. The EVOX interior is far superior, in my opinion, to the subaru interior. The subbie interior is way too cluttered for me, and everything is just black. At least with the mitsubishi's they give you a couple tones in the interior, plus the carbon fiber accents and the recaro seats are far better than what you get in the STI. Do the STI's even come with momo wheels anymore? And I said the lancer/ ralliart do ride far better than the 2.5rs/wrx. I didn't say they handled better, cornered better, or had better suspensions, I said they ride better. In a daily driver I don't want to be permanently glued to the road, and feel every butt jarring bump. I want to be able to cruise if I want, and corner if I want. I don't want them both 24/7.

I saw a couple Subarus, and a lot of EVOIX. Of course, way too many fords and citroens. Did you see that one dude in the red citroen crash like 5 times?
-
I'm just sayin the truth. Subaru's are great cars, and the STi is probably more 'track worthy' than the EVO is but the EVO and mitsubishi's are just all around better cars. The interiors are nicer, they ride nicer, the hold up better and they get better MPG. I mean if you are looking for that trademark subaru, damn near break your back every time, ride... then be all means...

just get an evo and you'll realize you spent way too much time arguing with yourself over a toy subaru.

They just patened the technology for kinetic batteries that recharge themselves (or create energy) by simple kinetic motions. Think of the shake-flash-light. You shake it, it generates enough power for itself to run for a few minutes. Essentially you would just need something to get the kinetic motion kick started, and a car could theoretically run forever without any energy requirements. Why won't this ever happen? I think you know the answer. It should've already happened, decades ago.

What type of car? -2009 Mitsubishi Lancer What mods? -Murdered out. K&N typhoon. full suspension and exhaust have been done. Whats the car going to be built or is used for? -Daily driver, something fun to drive in the winter, some rallyx/autox. What are your goals with the car? -Build something that I want to hold onto for awhile because its more fun than any new car on the road.

I am a completely law abiding citizen on the roads, I usually travel 3-5 mph over the speed limit (not saying I don't speed now and then). I am a model for what all people should study for driving habits, and I've paid 4 no front plate fees, 1 no seat belt (from a bicycle cop) and 1 rolling stop (right turn). I've had 2 legitimate tickets. This is why I have no respect for highway huggers.

I had a stress fracture in one of my lower lumbars, and I can tell you sometimes there's nothing you can do except take some muscle relaxers or celebrex.
-
haha yea, I'd think so, they'd probably have more of a problem if you were traveling to detroit.

harrisons, if you feel like walking north a bit.

$111 a pop was enough to make me buy some black zip ties and zip it to the bottom grill.

State OK's use of secret GPS tracking devices (in cars)
matty2431 replied to ImUrOBGYN's topic in Passing Lane
My life is on constant surveylance from the gov't 24/7 anyway, so I really don't care, they can't possibly know anymore about me than they already do. Here one article about the cell phone mic thing http://news.zdnet.com/2100-1035_22-150467.html http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Covert_listening_device From Wiki: Mobile phone (cell phone) microphones can be activated remotely, without any need for physical access[citation needed]. This roving bug feature is reportedly being used by law enforcement agencies and intelligence services to listen in on nearby conversations.[3] A United States court ruled in 1986 that a similar technique, used by the FBI against reputed former Gulfport Mississippi cocaine dealers Bennett Branch and Don Tomlinson dealing cocaine under the direct authority of kingpin David "The Eagle" Easterling after having obtained a court order, was permissible.[4] While it is not possible to do this with every mobile phone as of 2006, some models are susceptible to being remotely reprogrammed (over the air using methods meant for delivering upgrades (Firmware updates and maintenance) with this capability without the knowledge of its owner. Examples for such mobile phones are Motorola Razr and Samsung 900 series mobile phones. What? You guys think I was joking? -

They already got the cell phone companies. The gov't is allowed to remotely activate the microphone on your cellphone to listen to your lovely voice... even when the phone is turned off. No joke. I'd search for the articles/evidence but I'm too lazy. Big Brother inches closer to reality every single day. -
32-35 depending on model and bargaining skills. Prob around $350-$400/ month

haha. I always see three evo's with in the style, a silver one at my work, a black one with gold rims thats pretty nasty, and another silver one up here in westerville. I'm savin hard right now for a new one, or something of that nature.

I dont think its quite as easy as walking up and trading your lease out? Don't most companies have early termination fees and the like? I have always heard its quite costly to jump out of your lease early. TO OP: Mitsubishi has some sweet lease deals on the lancer. I got mine for basically nothing down, $240 a month. I got the ES sport so it comes with the ipod hook up, speakers, ground effects, spoiler and alloys. I'm pretty sure you could rope in a GTS or a ralliart for not much more a month since I leased mine before the great crash last sept. The ralliart I believe is AWD too, which is perfect for the ohio winters. The interior of the car is cozy, but nothing spectacular, but you cannot really argue with the outside looks of the car and its performance for the price you pay.

It's a bullshit law and its definitely unjust for $111 just for not having a front plate, thats absolute fleecing if you ask me. And my mother has been able to get me out of a few spots actually, so I use her wisely.
-
I'm just going to give it to my mother who is going to close it out in the system and I won't pay a dime just like she has done for every other ticket I got she felt wasn't my fault.
-
I would like to note that I just received my second front plate bullshit ticket, in the same car, in two weeks. I showed him the warning I got two weeks ago and told him I didn't have time to make it to the dealership to receive my front plate holder that I paid for in my dealer prep fees and all he said was 'thats unacceptable'. And wrote me the ticket anyway. Thing is it was in the middle of rush hour traffic on 71 and he was an absolute DICK HEAD. He walks back and says 'in my opinion you need to go there now and tell them to give you a holder or your going to drill holes in the car' and I said 'in my opinion its a completely bullshit law thats just helping you guys meet your fiscal year budget' and smiled and walked away. I didn't sign the ticket either. He didn't even offer me to sign it so im fighting it and i know ill win. $136. They can suck my nuts as they will never see one dime of it, thank god my mom is a clerk of courts in ohio. I would like to know how 88 in a 65 is $120 but driving without a front plate is $136??? Anyone care to explain why 23mph over the limit is LESS dangerous than a front plate in the state of ohio?

I finally upgraded to snow leopard and I kinda wish I would've just downloaded this shit instead of spend $30 on it. It is much faster, which is awesome, but I get absolutely no usability out of the other new features including the exchange support because now mail stores ALL of my emails on my mac and theres no way around it other than to delete them one by one. And it sets up two mailboxes for the same account which is annoying. Itunes 9 sucks a fat one too, at least the 3.1 iphone update fixed some issues for me.
