  1. Nice...Probably one of my next handgun's purchased will be the Glock 42
  2. Have tried using some heat to help free up the stud or nut ?
  3. Sorry for your loss. Sounds like your Grandfather was a great guy, I'm sure he will be missed. Prayers sent to you and your family...
  4. Should be fine...I store race fuel in plastic jugs in a pole barn.
  5. Good Deal...Thanks to Jordon and Jet Auto Group for sponsoring the event and to all CR Member's who took the time to put this together. Should be a great event, True Street is a great class to get everyone racing. Looking forward to CR Track Day...
  6. Stored in sealed containers, out of the sun and you'll be fine. I'm assuming you'll be using it over the next 4 or 5 months.

    Honda generator

Not sure...I would have to look at how many hours I've ran mine, but it has never given me any problems what so ever. I've heard nothing but good things about this generator.

    Honda generator

I'm not an expert on Honda Generators, but I've owned the EU6500iS for about 6 years. I purchased it to run my enclosed trailer at the track. I've used it a couple times at my house while the electric was out. This is a very nice and super quiet generator. If you use it for the track, you'll really appreciate just how quiet it is. It will be running and you'll never know it. You'll actually hear all the other cheaper, louder generators, screaming and work their butts off around you. Your Honda will be running and you'll never know it. I've had a bunch of people who stop by the pits comment on how quiet it is. I've had no issues with the generator. Definitely one of the best purchases I've made for my racing program. - John
  9. Troy's close to being ready to fire. He's hoping to be out sometime in June. The car is looking killer...
  10. Cool...I'll talk to you at the track. Maybe we can line up for a pass or two. Gotta watch you Ford guys, you're a little sneaky...
  11. You using a power adder or naturally aspirated these days ?
  12. Cool...Should be a pretty good race, I know you're still sorting your combination out. I see you're knocking off E.T. each time you go out. I had the double beadlock wheels left over from my old car(427c.i. and 106). This car has never really done to well at NTR, typically runs 9.20-9.30's there. I'm only going to have the BBF in the car a little longer, figured I'd get out a make a few laps. I can help you set your boost controller before we race, wouldn't want you to smoke the tires at the hit...lol
  13. I'd be interested in lining up with the turbo Nova in my naturally aspirated Mustang. Not too much with the boost now, OK... -John
  14. jevans.... more info on the mustang please. Sorry, just noticed this. PM Sent...
  15. Your car is making some crazy power...
  16. I'm happy with all my dealings with Big 3 Racing so far. I spoke to Rick over the phone and was sold by the time we hung up. I'm hoping to have the notch up to them sometime later this summer.
  17. Nice project, looks like you're covering all bases. Good Luck with finishing it...
  18. Yeah, it has been down for over a year now. It's finally getting a powerplant to match the chassis. I'm waiting for the heads to come back from DLS and then the engine can be reassembled for the last time. I probably should have done an LS swap, it took forever to get all the parts to build a nice Buick V-6 engine. Should be a pretty stout combination once it's put back together. I've really hated seeing it sit in the shop for the last year and a half.
  19. No problem...I'm planning the swap later on in the season. I'd like to have it together to catch a few of NMRA Events and Bowling Green in October. I'll be running the current combination until I start the swap.
  20. I'll be swapping the naturally aspirated big block ford out for the mod motor. The new combination is a Bridge built 5.4 Mod Motor with GT Heads. The power adder is a pair of Comp Turbo 7275's, MMR Sheet Metal Intake, Air to Air Intercooler, Powerglide Transmission and managed with a Holley Dominator EFI ECU. Ark Hot Rods will be making upgrades to the 25.5 Chassis. Big 3 Racing will be fabbing up the hot and cold sides, installing the management system and doing the initial fire up and chassis dyno. The plan is to continue to run NMRA True Street and some local heads up stuff. I'll post some more info as I get closer to making the swap. Here's a few pictures for now...John http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p65/jevans88/Mod%20Motor/0203131312_zps45d0477b.jpg http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p65/jevans88/Mod%20Motor/1202132017a_zps6a775638.jpg http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p65/jevans88/Mod%20Motor/0207141444_zps95b134be.jpg http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p65/jevans88/Mod%20Motor/0207141445a_zps4d32d899.jpg http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p65/jevans88/Mod%20Motor/0218141129a_zpsa94e286b.jpg http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p65/jevans88/Mod%20Motor/0218141129b_zpsac9f9de5.jpg http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p65/jevans88/Mod%20Motor/0218141828_zpse671cb0f.jpg
  21. That Viper is making some crazy numbers. I'm having Big 3 Racing do my twin turbo set-up on my new Mod Motor. The guys at Big 3 build some really nice stuff, can't wait to see what kind of numbers my set-up will make.
