  1. 100% agree with you. You said what i was trying to.
  2. agreed. I'd rather have that thing. Looks cool. The track seems dumb to me. I'm not ever going race on it, and i'm not ever going to go watch a race, but i probably would check out that sky garden. Don't let me discourage those of you who want it though. I'm not gonna vote or campaign against it or anything like that. I just don't care, as Habitual Sinner stated.
  3. okay, i won't be able to take it off your hands then. sorry.
  4. Seriously, get it and put that zeintec top on. That is SO SO SO SO SO SO Sexy. As mensan said, it would be sure to get you laid. The zeintec top also eliminates a problem that mensan just brought up. DO IT MAN!!!!
  5. Hell #3 on your list there is a good choice. Swoop that up, just make sure you have some money in reserve in case something breaks.
  6. - There are 4 door models of the Infinity G35 and G37. I really like them. - The WRX and Legacy GT fit your stipulations, but i think the WRX might be a bit small for a guy saying he wants 4 doors. - One that i personally love: Mazdaspeed 6. I like it alot better than the 3. its heavier, but also more powerful. - Also i'd say you could consider an evo (probably an 8 for that price). But i'd group that in with the WRX as most likely being too small for your taste. - So my list for you ranked in order of how much i feel they meet your criteria: Mazdaspeed 6 Infiniti G35 sedan Infiniti G37 sedan Subaru Legacy GT Mazdaspeed 3 Subaru WRX Evo 8
  7. I have a friend who's semi-interested. He ironically has a woods in his backyard, but can only find an occasional downed limb for firewood. He was wondering how you'd feel if a few of us came over some day (early juneish) and took a chainsaw to everything to make it easier to transport, and just prepare it to be used for firewood. We would need to do this because there's no room on his (parent's) property to do all the sawing and sorting and such, so it would be on your property and probably could take quite a few hours of work, and probably multiple trips to move it all. How would you feel about that? ps as i stated, he can't really commit to taking it until june because we are getting into the thick of this quarter at OSU and won't have any free time until school's out. And he'll have to make sure his parents are cool with having a shitload of wood in their yard.
  8. i have seen that movie. unfortunately, that really could be our future, especially if public education (K through 12) doesn't get its act together.
  9. see what i'm sayin RWD can be just fine as a DD.
  10. The CTS is RWD as well? don't know why its any better than anything i listed. the real question is how do you feel about any of the mentioned cars, T Rex?
  11. The website makes it extremely unclear and hard to find the answer to the question i asked. how about you just answer?
  12. huh, seems like a cool idea. Can someone tell me more details please? like, would it have a drag track (1/4 mile) or would it just be a nascar type of thing?
  13. He said RWD or AWD 3000gt VR4--------------AWD 99-04 Mustang GT------RWD Nissan 350Z-------------RWD Infinti G35--------------RWD Trans Am or Firebird---RWD All very fun cars. All around 12,000 used with decent mileage. RWD is fine as a daily in the winter. I've survived 2 very snowy winters in my Mustang. You just have to know how to drive it. When its even remotely snowy you just have to accelerate very slowly and not gas it around turns. Occasionally the skill of counter-steering is needed, but not if you're careful. Besides RWD can be a hellofalotof fun in the winter time. Sometimes its fun to go to a parking lot and do laps sideways or do some serious donuts without wearing away the tires. All the cars i listed are decently fast, decently good on gas, good looking, fun to drive cars that are reliable as DD's. I also support the S2000, i think that was a very good idea.
  14. Thanks everyone. Your cars will help me make my decision.
  15. +1 for this being the dumbest thing i've ever read. For 1000 reasons. but V8 Beast said it well, the last person you want watching your back is someone who doesn't wanna be there. The military should come up with a better recruitment system. At my high school (Reynoldsburg), i was harassed at lunch almost daily by the recruiters there and i was polite at first but it got to the point where they'd sit down and i'd say i'm sorry i have no interest in joining the military, please let me eat my lunch in peace. If i HAD ever wanted to join the military, that surely would have turned me away.

  17. Thanks! The more time i spend here the more i feel i made a great decision coming to OSU. Haha i know that that is the fate of many of my classmates, which is why i strive not to have the same fate.
  18. I do tend to do a shitload of night driving. I work 9-6 in the summer, so depending on how late in the season it is i'll walk out after work and it'll be dark. Not to mention i go somewhere almost every night after work, whether a friends house or easton or whatever, TONS of night driving lol. Thanks for your two cents.
  19. Good point. My major is Finance. I'm hoping to start out with some lowly banking job to get my foot in the door, then move up the ladder, maybe as a bank manager or something involving that field. Though my real interest is Investment Management type of stuff. I'd love to be the guy who invests rich people's money and makes a small percent off of it (a small percent of thousands of dollars is still alot of money ). Ohio state has a lot of really good internship opportunities through the business school, so i'm hoping that getting that job experience could help me find a job right out of school. If not, i am open minded towards graduate school, and i think i would definitely be sought after with a Masters degree in Finance.
  20. Thanks for the advice both of you. Pictures of yours paul?
  21. awesome that sounds like a good price to me. will have to compare prices. so 20% on the rear and 25% on the front. so that means 20% visible right? or 80% visible? you said you don't think its dark enough, so how dark would you have done it? how dark can i go and still not get harassed by the POlice?
  22. So i've read threads before about where to go. Once i figure out what overall i'm gonna do appearance-wise to my car i'm gonna give Dyno Brian a call. But i really don't know anything about window tinting. I'm familiar with Ohio's Laws on tinting, but i don't have an idea what tint would look best on my car and if i'm supposed to get different %'s on different windows or what. so here's my questions and pics of my car: 1. Should i tint the windshield? or do i just tint everything else? 2. How much should i tint it? like what % or whatever? i don't want to be getting pulled over for this EVER, but i don't want to waste money on some pussy tint either. 3. What type of price am i looking at? I don't need an exact quote or anything, just give me a 100$ range or something like "100-200" or something http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v248/Omally23/frontside.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v248/Omally23/mustangback.jpg
  23. Infidel - I respect a lot of the views you've expressed in this thread, and agree with them too. But i have to strongly agree with Farkas's initial statement. It doesn't make me a lesser person because i chose not to join the military. Yes i'm a strong, fit, able bodied citizen, but its my choice if i want to serve or not. I don't want to for several reasons: First, i love my girlfriend very much and wouldn't want her to face the prospect of losing me. Second, i don't want to put my life on the line for a war that i did not want to ever be started. Third, i know a large number of people who have joined the military, served oversees, came back and blown their paychecks partying and sitting around on their ass. Then they're screwed because they didn't go to college, have no money, and can't get a respectable job. I've chosen to go to school, earn a degree, and have employers wanting ME, rather than me hoping for them to want me. I am an extremely intelligent person and my choice to serve my country or not has nothing to do with that. I'm also a proud American and vote on everything i can so that i can take part in our countries decision making. I always make informed decision and fairly compare each candidate instead of just blindly voting for my party's candidate (like stupidass average americans do). I've even called my national congressman and state representative a few times to voice my opinion on something that they're vote could have an effect on.
