That wheel hop killed my half shalf. I broke on my first run and I was the first on the line with my friend Steve. Steve ran a 11.80 and I had crushed him off the line. I just want to say thanks to some of the Galena Police department. I'm letting my friend take my 79 Firebird to the Ames Performance Nationals this weekend, The Bird has been sitting for quite some time. My friend called me to say the Bird had broke down and the Galena Police were more than willing to help me out. One of the cops challenged me to a race with my GTO. I hope this takes place some day so that I can embarrass him, lol. You don't get many people saying thanks to the police department, but I just had to for their generosity.
