    CTS-V.

The new ones are much better than the old ones. I deal with caddy's all day...
  2. finally got the body mounted and the new wheels on. I think it turned out pretty good for my first attempt. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=434&pictureid=3388
  3. Oh trust me, I'm getting really good at putting this thing back together. I like the truggy, seems like it would take a hit, but with a low center of gravity would be easy to drive. The only thing that concerns me is the long and unprotected control arms. The guy at the hobby store warned me that they tend to break. Oh well, if I can find one for a good price I'll get one. I need something to mess around with off road.
  4. I've been trying to find a nitro truck recentally. I got a feeling I'll be able to learn a little easier with a big truck that can take a hit once and a while.
  5. eh, i see tons of CTS's. I haven't been impressed. Kinda interested to see how these new gens hold up.
  6. Might have to check them out. So far I've only been to the 2 hobbytown stores (gahanna & hilliard) and hurricane hobbies (polaris). I saw a how-to the other day to turn a 4-tec into a rally car. Something about changing the control arms to a stadum truck and putting some larger wheels on. It is susposed to give that car a slightly higher stance and the ability to go slightly off road.
  7. They (Sears @ Polaris) had small bags of powder for $1.99 a bag. not bad since each bag is susposed to cover 7 sq/ft.
  8. sorry, I got this from my Benz buddy in an e-mail today. we had a few slr's in the shop a few months ago. amazing cars...drool....
  9. It's a Mercedes Benz owned by an Abu Dhabi oil billionaire (naturally). Featuring the newly developed V10 quad turbo with 1,600 horsepower and 2800nm of torque 0-100km/h in less than 2secs, 1/4 mile in 6.89 secs running on biofuel. That is NOT stainless steel, people; it is WHITE GOLD! http://i681.photobucket.com/albums/vv179/03zoomzoom/goldslr1.jpg http://i681.photobucket.com/albums/vv179/03zoomzoom/goldslr2.jpg http://i681.photobucket.com/albums/vv179/03zoomzoom/goldslr.jpg
  10. wow, 33 views and nothin...
  11. I worked for Advance Auto parts. Drove from Marysville to Marion for class and then went to London to work at the new store we opened. 134 miles a day.
  12. Anybody have a hookup? I found some powder at Sears today on clearance. Just need somebody that has the machine.
  13. It would be the 2.5R motor then. It has the blue anodized head.
  14. It's either a 2.5 or a 2.5R. I can't figure out how to tell them apart.
  15. yep, 4-tec w/.25 motor. I guess that makes sense. Break the cheep and easy to get to parts. At least I'm getting really good at taking it apart and rebuilding it. ha ha ha
