Anyone going to The Drift Effect this sunday at Lake County Speedway?

Never seen one of those before.

One sweet pic right there! and that's one clean 200sx I remember looking at those a bit when I almost given up on looking for a clean AE86. Ive done alot of searching for RWD cars and ones I like. No ive never attended a drift event as I just got the car a few mouths ago. But I would like too. At lest to go and watch and stuff. I would like to get into track racing mostly and go to mid Ohio.

haha This thread has more Initial D then the movie itself. and what do you have against drifting?

haha Its not that slow. Its gets up and goes decent for the power the engine has being how old it is and how many miles on it.

Me as well but its all good in my opinion I upgraded. It might not be crazy powerful but its a really fun unique car and great on gas and affordable for me to drive around all day but that's something he may not understand. Thanks for backing me up bud with the ae88/ae86 debate. And I seen that video on youtube before. That's one sick engine never thought I'd meet the guy that built it. I don't want to come off as a jerk or anything. Its fine if people don't like my car. To each their own. I bought it cuz I liked it alot and it's different and its simply a fun car that filled my expectations of a car and what it should be. I never hate on anyone else's cars so I guess I expect the same courtesy back. But it is what it is. Thanks for all the welcomes.

Anybody can type stuff in. Were did you get those specs from? And I have no problem calling it a corolla cuz that's what it is so don't act like that hurts my feelings haha. But I have eyes I can see what Toyota stamped into it on the firewall. Have you ever had one? Thanks I know its nice that's why I bought one.

I got the talon stock and did all the mods myself. This car is going to get the same treatment. I guess your allowed your own opinion. Before you talk IQ I would make sher to capitalize the first letter of your first word of your sentences before you talk about how smart I am bud. Your thinking of part of the vin. AE86 is the chassis code as its stamped on the fire wall. If its a AE86 corolla Im going to call it an AE86 cuz when most people hear corolla they think of the cars they see driving around every day with front wheel drive. When they see AE86 they know its the last model corolla with a rear wheel drive layout and the 4AGE engine. I don't think im a fan boy but I am differently a fan of the AE86. But thanks for the welcome.

Thanks. Yea I would like to come to some meets this coming season. Lots of people in Japan love the AE86 but like you said to each their own. What would the world be if we all had the same cars right haha. Even if there is not any people on here with AE86's its all good. Still wanted to join even if so.
