had a Buddy with an 01 cobra 5 spd cold air and Flowmaster cat bak only went 13.8 at Best...

Make sure your springs don't have to much seat pressure or they will wipe out a hydraulic flat tappet cam..

That's not to bad of a cam.just make sure it matches your heads...converter...etc...

THe Springs on the heads dont look Real big (almost look stock)...but the Ports Look to have had some work done to them...

I used to hit MCIR Every Friday when i had my Bike about 2 years ago then Quit Going when i sold it and the Grudge Match Started and I never even knew it was going on... Heard the first night there were about 250 people..

If someone Built a 383 it would Probably not have a stock cam in it...I have always had good luck with Edelbrock carbs, but there more of a street carb. Where as Holley is more of a Race Carb. you should Really know what your motor is to Decide on the Carb thats right. but you could probably just run an edelbrock and never have an issue.

Friend of mine bought a 5.0 GT and took it to norwalk with 160 miles on it.... car went a best of 12.69 on the stock tires... WTF!! Thats badass for a stock street car for only 30k..

Anybody Ever Come To Mansfield?? I live about 20 Minutes away. Usually hit it up one night on a weekend. Usually a Nice Crowd out there. if Its a nice Day then there will be a Ton OF People. mostly tuners but Once and awhile there are some Nice Musclecars and Worthwhile rides. Might Swing out there tonight if it clears up.

MCIR Is Having the AHRA Reunion this weekend. i Heard that you had to be racing tomorrow to get into T&T Tonight... dont know if its true. you can still go watch im sure. But Next week will be the Night to go . Grudge Matches!! Heard its the best thing since sliced Bread.................
