  1. yep mass airs good. It's a metallic sound. Its crazy tho it doesn't start making the noise right away and I know I didn't drop anything in the valley.
  2. Ok, so I just got the intake swap done. Changed to ls2 valley cover had dod shut off. The only thing that went wrong in the whole swap was I broke one of the valley bolts. Middle one on the back. So here's what happens when I start it it starts just fine runs for about 20 or 30 sec. and then starts making this crazy ass noise and starts running like shit. I shut it off and started it right back up and sure enought about 20 sec. later same thing. Someone please help me with this. Sounds like its coming from the back pass. side up top. The only thing I could think of was being that bolt was broke it wasn't putting enough pressure on the high pressure oil ports. Thanks for the help.

  5. Smae as above but I have tried switching the 5v ref. wires and still the same thing. Someone plz help me.   9. Ok so I am using a 2005 Truck tb which is DBW. Here is the link to where I am getting my info. Both the truck and my car use the same 8 pin connector but the wires are in different spots. http://chevythunder.com/drive_by_wire.htm 8 pin LS4 06' Grand Prix A TP Sensor 1 Signal B 5 Volt Reference C Common Ground D TP Sensor 2 Signal E TAC Motor Control - 1 F TAC Motor Control - 2 G 5 Volt Reference H Common Ground 8 pin truck A TAC Motor Control - 1 B Common Ground C TAC Motor Control - 2 D Common Ground E 5 Volt Reference F TP Sensor 2 Signal G TP Sensor 1 Signal H 5 Volt Reference Here is the pin out for my car and the truck tb. So I hooked it up this way and it doesn't work car won't even start. My question is it does it matter where I put the two 5v References or the common grounds? Any help would be sweet. And yes the TB is good I check it on a friends truck. Another thing on that site it say nothing about changing the TAC mod. if your changing the TB only if changing the pedal. This is how I did it and got nothing. When its hooked up and you first turn the key it will open a bit then close and nothing else. A = E B = C OR H C = F D = C OR H E = G F = D G = A H = B
  10. Shit I wish 14.5 was the best if torque managment wouldn't have kicked in I would have hit a 14.0 for sure. that will be taken care of soon enought

  13. Yep 5.3l 325CI based off the truck engine with the v6 m6 trans bolt pattern not the normal LSx pattern
  14. Yep it runs 255/45/18 up front and 225/50/18 out back. but once I get new tires I'm gonna do 275/40/18 front and 255/45/18 out back.
  15. Torque steer can be a bit of a bitch. Really depends on the road.
