it is not fords base motor, its their premire motor for the f150, their base option motor is a na 3.7, and what have you seen and heard from 6.2 owners to say they wouldnt last? they are no diff than any lsx motor which has been proven over and over and over. ill never believe that head to head test, i have a 5.3 it does quite well towing and it doesnt have a 3.42 gear like advertised in that commercial they come with a 3.08 gear with the 6speed trans. you have to get the 6.2 to get 3.42 gears. they may have a decient motor but that test is bs.

You cant get a loan for a "salvage title" vehical but you can for a "rebuilt salvage title" car

This is true. We have rebilt a few cars and ive done 3 bikes and they dont care at all if things are safe or fixed correctly. As long as you have all your lights and bumpers all they check is to make sure parts are not stolen. And its the state hwy patrol that does the inspections not a dealer.

rebuilt salvage on the title means it has been inspected and is good to go salvage on the title means it still needs to be inspected before you can get tags. the inspection process can be a pain in the ass and you must have original reciepts and vins for all parts you replaced.

Wtf are you talking about, how would a tubular k member not be fun on the street? Its a weight reduction thing it doesnt change anything else. I still have stock control arms on my tubular k you would never know its there. And just bc its a stroked motor doesnt mean its gonna be unreliable. I trust my new motor way more than my stock one, i know its got the parts to take the abuse and can still be daily driven dont have to hold your breath with every pull u make. With that being said i realice you have decided agianst the ta and i like the vette idea pending the details the ta was not necessairly a bad deal.
