+1. The stock enormous trash-can mufflers weigh 24 lbs a piece. Also the steelies are a little heavy as well. Hopefully I'll be able get out to the track soon and see what it can do. I'm sure it will be a train wreck on my part though.

Yep, they're rated at 312 from the factory. Manuals have been putting down 260-270 to the wheels, autos 250-260...

Oh, for sure. I wasn't looking for something to be super quick. I wanted a daily driver with good looks, that's also a blast to drive. There are a couple people on camaro5.com with bolt-ons in the 13's which is pretty good (imvho) for a car this heavy.

Yep, knew it was coming, lol. For sure I've taken my fair share of lumps for the v6 decision. While the LS3/L99's are without a doubt awesome, GM packed a hell of a lot of car into the v6 for a $24k sticker.

I'm most interested in car shows/drag racing although I've never taken a car down the 1/4 mile (there has to be a first time for everything, right?). I also had dirt bikes growing up. I sold my KDX200 after going away to college because it was just collecting dust/taking up space in my parent's garage.

The only thing I've done so far is switch to synthetic motor oil on my first oil change. Axle back exhaust coming soon. If one of the big name tuners would finally start tuning this 3.6 DI, IPS could then get to work on a TT kit. I'd love to go for that in the next couple years if I can get my wife's buy-in too.
